House, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 9)

Rent this charming three-bedroom chalet with a loft in Locust Lakes Village. In this beautiful cedar wood home you will be able to comfortably sleep eight to nine people with one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed, one bunk bed (twin on top, full on bottom) and two twin beds in the loft. Upstairs is an open floor plan with kitchen, dining room and living room with a gas fireplace and cable television. Walk out onto a large deck to view the many animals (deer, wild turkey, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and birds galore). Downstairs is a recreation room with a ping pong table and dart board.

When you leave the house you will be less than a two-minute walk to the lake where you can fish, boat and swim (the swimming beach is a few minutes' further walk along the lake). The lake is stocked with trout, walleye and bass. If you want a challenging walk, you can walk up the road that the house is on to the top of the mountain for wonderful views of the surrounding Poconos. Wonderful Sunsets are yours to enjoy at the top.

About The Owner

We love our home and use it as often as possible. With our careers and busy family schedule it is not as often as in years past. For this reason, we decided to share our home so other families could enjoy the Poconos as much as we do.

The Owner purchased this house in 1999
Why The Owner chose Locust Lake

We bought our home in Locust Lake Village because we loved the relaxed atmosphere plus there are all the outdoor activities we enjoy available right here. Terrific fishing (trout, bass, walleye), beautiful trails for cycling and hiking, lakes for swimming, courts for tennis and basketball and much more.

What makes this house unique

Our home is ideal for the family. I say this because that is how we use it. When we stay there, we have time to relax, read, play games, AND we get outside for lots of activity and fun.

Our home is located in the vacation community of Locust Lake Village. In addition to all the fun and relaxing available right in the community, there is plenty to do close by: Outlet shopping at 'The Crossings', Summer fun at Camel Beach water park, night life and gambling at Mount Airy Lodge Casino, motor sports at Pocono Raceway, white water rafting and tubing on the Lehigh River, hiking and camping in Hickory Run State Park (don't miss Boulder Field!) and of course skiing at one of several ski areas (Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Camelback).

Wonderful family vacation home. Well maintained, stones throw to the lake. Beautiful surroundings. Owners are extremely friendly and easy to get in touch with any questions. Plenty of things to do with the family, or just relax on the huge wrap around deck. We would definetely and have reccommended this house to friends and family. Can't wait to return this summer!!!!!
