NEWLY REVOVATED OVER THE WINTER. Very stylishly furnished and extremely well appointed 2 bedroom apartment in an exclusive gated complex with underground parking. Set in tropical gardens with 2 swimming pools (open for summer use), children’s play pool, 2 paddle courts and private gate leading directly onto one of Spain’s best beaches. We have tried to make it a 'home from home', with all the comforts you would expect and more. The NEW kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The highlight of the apartment is without a doubt the 180o uninterrupted view of the beach and ocean from the balcony, which is very comfortably furnished with teak table, chairs and deckchairs for al fresco holiday living! Located at the base of the Atlanterra hillside over-looking North Africa to the south and the Cape of Trafalgar to the west, enjoying the sunset sipping a glass of Rioja, I know of no better apartment for the perfect holiday.

Zahara a los Atunes, a traditional Spanish family resort with a working fishing community still very much at it's heart, is set on one of the area's beautiful, unspoilt beaches. There is a large selection of excellent restaurants and bars in the village and freshly caught seafood is of course a feature and a speciality. The beaches of Tarifa are a 25km drive away and are some of the best in the world for wind and kite surfing (a fantastic spectator sport even if you are not brave or mad enough to participate). Whale watching trips and day trips to Tangiers are also available from here. Inland are vast areas of national park, fantastic for mountain biking, walking and bird-watching. Nearby is the picturesque hilltop 'Pueblo Blanco' of Vejer de la Frontera, with it's winding alleyways and hidden courtyards. Here you will find many excellent restaurants and fantastic views. The whole region is truly one of Spain’s best kept secrets.

Golf: Golfers will find several courses along the coast towards Chiclana, all within a half-hour drive, and all open to non-members. Sancti Petri offers 36 holes and a course designed by Ballesteros, San Andreas has 9 holes both these are within 40 Kms. Inland at Benalup you will find 18 holes and last but not least the beautiful Montenmedio Golf and Country Club (a 15 min drive), where you will also find extensive equestrian activities on offer and excellent restaurants.

Day trips of Morocco: Fast ferries from Tarifa carry passengers across to Tangiers in 35 mins, where you can brush up on your haggling skills in the souks.

The apartment certainly has the best views and proximity to the beach that we have experienced over many years holidays in Spain.
The decoration and cleanliness are superb with a very well kitted kitchen, everything the keen cook could possibly need!
The pools in the complex are clean and, although they would benefit from more and newer sunbeds, was great for a refreshing dip when returning from the hot, sandy beach.
The key hand over was smooth and help was cheerfully forthcoming.
We particularly enjoyed 'sundowners' at Casablanca bar with live music, and even livelier customers, followed by prawns and tapas at the stand-up bar next door (also Casablancas) in Atlanterra 5 minutes away from the apartment by car.
We would definately recommend this apartment to friends thinking of visiting this part of Spain.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The property is very well equipped (microwave and dishwasher!) as well as being extremely well located for the beach and for visiting the rest of the Costa de Luz. The view from the balcony is amazing and we spent a very relaxing week sipping wine and watching the sun set. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time in Zahara de los Atunes. The apartment is clean very well equipped and has the best views.
There was a good range of dvd"s, very handy if you have children. The service was also perfect, the handover of the keys, and some extra questions and request, there was no problem.
