Etched in the memory of those who have been fortunate enough to experience Tussie Mussie Vineyard Retreat is a vision of breathtaking beauty, tranquillity and something uniquely special which will remain with you forever.
The Vineyard Lodge consists of four king suites, each wih their own bathroom suite (two have baths and one has a huge corner spa bath), lounging area, TV, private entrance and terrace and 2 have their own wood burning fires.
The Lodge has a reverse cycle air conditioning unit, a large enclosed wood fire, high quality Geneva music system including iPod dock, and an impressive French farmhouse dining table that comfortably seats 8 in elegant rattan dining chairs. A fantastic separate media and movie room with a large Pioneer LCD TV and DVD, Bose surround sound system, "block out" floor to ceiling silk curtains and several comfy "gold class" recliners to complete your cinema experience.
The Vineyard Lodge offers a fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances (Fisher & Paykel and Blanco) and baking/ cooking utensils that will delight the most committed cooks.
There is a separate laundry for guests' use, with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.
There is also a powder room off The Vineyard Lodge entrance hallway.
****Please note that three of the king beds in the Vineyard Lodge can be split in to 2 single beds, however, it requires for a handyman to change the bedhead thus a $200 fee applies for splitting each bed into 2 singles if desired.
VINEYARD LODGE TERRACE
The Vineyard Lodge Terrace overlooks the breathtaking landscape, offering a great place to socialise or simply relax in comfort. Fully furnished with two large 2-seater as well as a 3-seater cushioned lounges, multiple coffee tables and 2 ample shade umbrellas you will love spending time here. Also features a generous sized BBQ.
The Vineyard Cottage is a completely separate and romantic cottage, consisting of two bedrooms, one with king and the other with a queen bed.
It has one large shared bathroom, with both a Victorian style bath, and a large walk in double shower, heated floors, as well as a separate cloakroom and WC.
This romantic accommodation for either one or two couples, is idyllic for those seeking a nostalgic and peaceful retreat, and has a lounge and dining table for up to 4 people, with views directly down the vineyard.
Every comfort and convenience of modern day living has been thought of from a large LCD TV with built in DVD player, movie library, Bose iPod dock, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso Coffee machine, reverse cycle air-conditioning, wood burning fire, and modern gas barbecue.
THE OLD LAUNDRY
The Old Laundry is a spacious, private suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom with 2 person shower and heated floors and it's own private entrance and parking.
This luxury accommodation for two is perfect for those seeking comfort and seclusion in a shady more woodland setting on the property.
Many years ago this fully refurbished treasure was indeed the farm laundry. Now the only suggestion of a laundry are the vintage French laundry baskets, antique washboard and ironing board.
Your every comfort has been considered from the huge French style king bed, large LCD TV with built in DVD, movie library, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso Coffee machine, reverse cycle airconditioning, wood burning fire and modern gas barbecue.
And when morning comes, cook breakfast on your barbecue in your large, private, covered seating area with oversized French "grain bag" cushions for comfort.
*All the beds are dressed in luxury Sheridan 1000 thread count cotton sheets and soft towels. Pamper yourself with the organic Australian toiletries provided, and wrap yourself in Sheridan soft pile white towels.
THE LONG TABLE - overlooks the vineyard, colorful rose garden and manicured grass, provides an amazing place to enjoy the company of your guests at Tussie Mussie.
THE PIZZA OVEN - Made out of brick and clay, this good sized pizza outdoor oven also features a large Jumbuck BBQ allowing you to cook up a feast.
THE VINEYARD KITCHEN - interesting open plan premises separate to the main lodge and to the other vineyard properties. It can be used, for a small fee, to entertain a group of guests.

From Melbourne CBD
Follow the coastline from Melbourne via Frankston to access Port Phillip bayside towns (Mt Eliza, Mornington, Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento, Portsea).
To access villages alongside Westernport Bay (Tyabb, Hastings, Flinders), take the M1 linked with the Western Port Highway.
For a faster journey (60 minutes) take the M1 and join the Eastlink tollway, paying special attention to the eclectic mix of roadside artwork, including the giant bird of Emily Floyd's Public art strategy and Callum Morton's high-rise hotel. Take the Mornington Peninsula Freeway and then Moorooduc Freeway to quickly reach the Mornington Peninsula.
By rail and bus
Jump on a metropolitan train service (running every 15-20 minutes) from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Frankston, then connect through Hastings to Stony Point on Westernport Bay.

Choose the scenic option and spot dolphins as you make the stunning ferry crossing from Queenscliff on the Great Ocean Road to Sorrento. The Sorrento Car And Passenger Ferry departs daily from Sorrento Pier and Queenscliff Harbour, every hour on the hour from 7am until 6pm, all year round. Foot passengers, bicycles, cars, towed caravans and trailers, motor homes, motorcycles and truck are all welcome.
You can also take the ferry between the Mornington Peninsula and French Island and Phillip Island.
We are located just 1 hour away from the Melbourne CBD and less than 90 minutes from the Melbourne International Airport
The Mornington Peninsula region is easily reached along either the Eastern Freeway or the scenic coastal road hugging Port Phillip Bay
