This was an excellent location to stay. It is near the beach and other activities so travel time was a minimum. The backyard was great for family gatherings at night around the firepit. We had children and grandchildren and this place worked great for us. I would us this house again.

Great House for a family Vacation!

Me and my family of 5 stayed at Susan's house for a little over a week in the summer. Starting with communication with Susan, everything was just perfect! Susan is very sweet, and the house is great. We especially loved that there was a private studio (converted garage) and, of course, the fire pit in the spacious backyard! We enjoyed sitting there in the evening over some BBQ. Susan also very thoughtfully provided everything for a complete family vacation - beach towels, bikes, and everything you need for cooking at home. The beach is very close, and there's an array of stores (including Trader Joes) and restaurants nearby. We biked to Pacific Beach - very nice ride! Thank you Susan!

Susan was awesome and so easy to work with!! The location is very close to everything you would need. Sea World was 5 minutes down the road and the boardwalk and beach were 10 minutes up the road. The fire pit in the back yard was perfect for smores and cold nights. We loved having the extra little room out back and was perfect for our older son who likes his privacy. Susan thank you for all the bikes and only a couple blocks away to go ride along the beach!! She had beach towels and just about everything you need to cook meals at the house and the backyard and patio table is perfect for outside dinners!! Only downside house is located on a busy street but the price and location you could not find!!

Susan's house was a great choice for my wife and our six children. The house itself was immaculate, and even with eight people, it was very comfortable and never felt crowded. The converted garage was a lot of fun, and the amenities such as the patio table, two grills, beach chairs, and bicycles added a very hospitable touch. We especially enjoyed the walks through the neighborhood, coffee at the great little local coffee spot (sorry, Starbucks!), and down to and all along the beach areas.

Susan is a real pleasure to work with as she does all that she can to make sure your stay is comfortable and well-accomodated.

Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great family vacation property in Crown Point area of Pacific Beach. Very well appointed and furnished with everything you need down to the bikes and beach towels. The house is actually a 4-bedroom, the fourth room is a cool studio apartment in the backyard (garage conversion)- perfect for teenagers, mother-in-laws, or parents wanting some space. The yard is very secure and the location is ideal- across the harbor from Sea World and adjacent to Mission & Pacific beach (proper). With great location comes traffic (Ingraham St.)- nothing unusual there. We liked that fact that the neighborhood was not the typical "party-cental" PB. We're very paricular about where we stay and who we rent from. Susan was great and she offers her vacation home at a great rate- it definately exceeded our expectations.
