Limassol is situated on the southern part of Cyprus between Larnaca and Paphos airports. Based in the centre of Cyprus, it takes at most 55 minutes to visit any town, including the Troodos Mountains. Limassol is a bustling resort with a spirited, cosmopolitan atmosphere, and is the second largest city on the island.
Limassol hosts the island's two top festivals, the pre-lenten Carnival with fancy dress balls, parades and festivities and the Wine Festival in September, where wine flows freely for everyone to enjoy, courtesy of the local wineries.
Numerous sea cruises throughout the Mediterranean have their starting point at Limassol’s famous port. This cosmopolitan city offers a wide range of modern and traditional tavernas, restaurants, night clubs, discos and theatres.
On the eastern end of Limassol lies the Marina which accepts all kind of private boats and offers full marina services. On the outskirts of Limassol there is an 18 hole Golf Course
