Provence/Luberon-close to Bonnieux lg old bastide recently converted.Sleeps 9/10

Luberon-beautifully converted old bastide 1 mile from Bonnieux.Set in 1 acre of gardens which comprise of lawn,lavender beds and fruit trees.The views from the house and gardens are fabulous looking down over the Luberon valley towards Mt Ventoux.The pool is 15m x6m .There are old stone walls everywhere and a converted outbuilding which can double up as overflow accommodation for nannies or teenagers.There are plenty of outdoor tables and chairs around the garden.There are 3 house bicycles available .

The main house is a tall converted old bastide on 3 levels with a 40m2 sitting room with French doors on to the terrace and garden with the same magnificent views. There is also on the ground floor another small sitting room, downstairs loo and fully equiped kitchen .The house is furnished with antique furniture, internet , TV and DVD.Bedrooms are on 2 floors with a door between floors for privacy. Perfect for 2 families to share.4 beds,3 bathrooms.Sleeps 9/10 main house.

  • Bedrooms are on 2 levels with a door in the passageway between which makes for privacy. So perfect for 2 families to share. Also there are basically 2 master bedrooms one at the top of the house is larger and has the bathroom next door. The one on the first floor has a large bed and an en suite shower room.The top floor houses the large Master bedroom and the child's bedroom with a bathroom between. The First floor bedrooms both have en suite shower rooms and toilets.All tastefully decorated with antique furniture, linen curtains and old shutters.

Wir konnten mit unserer Familie im April eine Ferienwoche im St. Marcellin in Bonnieux verbringen. Die einhellige Meinung aller lässt sich kurz zusammenfassen: Es waren absolute Traumferien! Und wir wollen wieder einmal nach Bonnieux. Das Wetter war zwar noch kühl aber trocken. Dieses wunderschöne Haus bot den Kindern den notwendigen Platz zum austoben.
Die schöne Lage und das kleine Verkehrsaufkommen haben wir sehr genossen. Wir hatten unsere Rennräder dabei und waren fast täglich damit unterwegs. Die Gegend ist für Veloferien ideal. Der einmalige Ausblick auf den Mont Ventoux hat uns bewogen, ihn sowohl von Salut wie auch von Bedoin her zu bezwingen. Wir können das Haus ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank an die Vermieter.

Well first thing to say is that the photos do not do this place justice even though as you can see the photos look pretty good. This was a holiday for our family including including two sets on in-laws. The house was a great size with a great layout and allowed us to cohabit with peace!

Well equipped kitchen, beautiful bed linen, great living areas and perfect large pool heated to a perfect temperature.

We would have bought it there and then if it was for sale.

Very friendly dog kept the boys entertained.

Une maison chaleureuse, un cadre extraordinaire. Une pièce à vivre claire, spacieuse, ouverte sur le Ventoux. Une décoration et des meubles de qualité. De grandes chambres, pratiques. 3 salles de bain. Une terrasse, un jardin, une piscine. Un sentier qui mène au village, un endroit bien situé. Difficile de réunir plus d'avantages.

We spent one week in early spring and another in late autumn in this wonderful house. Its's very comfortabel, nicely furnished house with a splendid view directly to the Mont Ventoux.
Really a house with a "good spirit" - superb for a time out to relax and enjoy the benefits of this wonderful landscape.
We will come back (if it's possible).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

St Marcellin takes the Luberon biscuit

This is as good as it gets at the heart of the beautiful, peaceful Luberon. Staying at St Marcellin is dominated by the stunning view of the valley and Mount Ventoux, from terrace, drawing room, bed rooms and pool .
The house itself is extremely serene, tasteful and relaxing but also highly functional. The location of 2km from the best village in the Luberon, restaurants, baker, butcher, Friday market, views, etc, is perfect. Having stayed in several hotels and four other houses St Marcellin definitely takes the Luberon biscuit.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
