Our beautiful three bedroom/two bath garden level townhouse in the world famous Mauna Lani Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii's prestigious Kohala Coast can be your unique vacation experience. The Mauna Lani Palm Villas is a small gated complex located on the 17th fairway in the heart of the resort with its own waterfall pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Our condo is fully stocked and ready for your arrival. It sleeps 6 comfortably so you can bring the kids and Grandma and Grandpa or four of your best friends.

There is central air-conditioning, but the natural cross-breeze combined with the shady location keeps our condo remarkably cool. The common areas, entry and lanai are tiled also keeping everything clean and cool. The 9’ ceilings are open and spacious.

We have wireless high speed internet and unlimited long distance so you can stay in contact with the office or family on the mainland (including Canada). Our memory foam mattresses are made in the USA.

Rental includes all linens, dishes, pots and pans, and beach towels, chairs and cooler. Additional amenities: soaps (dishwasher, dish, laundry, personal), iron/ironing board, hair dryer, alarm clocks, coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crockpot, salad spinner, prep bowls, foil, plastic wrap , paper towels, bath tissue and spices.

MASTER BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS

The master bedroom features a California King Four-Poster Pineapple bed with a high-end bamboo (keeps you cool) memory foam mattress with oodles of pillows for your comfort. A flat screen 37” TV, dual nightstands, a dresser and a desk/chair complete the ambiance. The ensuite master bath contains double sinks, a soaking tub, separate shower, and a walk-in closet.

QUEEN BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS

The queen bedroom also features a sleigh bed with a high-end bamboo (keeps you cool) memory foam mattress with oodles of pillows for your comfort. A flat screen 37” TV, dual nightstands a dresser and a bench complete the room.

TWIN BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS

We have two extra-long twin beds that can be moved next to each other to form a king-sized bed, again topped with high-end bamboo memory foam mattresses. There is a nightstand and dresser completing this room.

LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS

The living room is a wonderful place to relax with seating for six plus. For entertainment, there is a 50” flat screen TV with HD service, a Blu-ray DVD player which has internet access to your Netflix or Hulu-plus account for downloads of your favorite movies and shows. There is also an AM/FM stereo/CD player with docking for your iPod or MP3 player.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS

For dining, you have the option of dining at the table with seating for six or at the kitchen bar with seating for 4. For cooking, we have provided you with everything you will need to prepare a gourmet meal.

LANAI

You can walk directly onto the beautiful, landscaped grounds within steps from the pool, spa and fitness room from your private lanai. The lanai features a table with seating for four, wet sink and built-in gas barbeque.

LOCATION

The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a 15-minute walk away, on a paved trail that leads through a Historic Preserve and ancient fishponds. Enjoy excellent snorkeling at this easily accessible bay, with lifeguard, chaise lounges and clubhouse. Private beach parking is also available for guests.

Additional resort facilities are within a short walk of our front door including two championship golf courses, miles of beachfront, a world famous spa and fitness center with an Olympic pool, a tennis center, shops, and restaurants. The Mauna Lani Resort includes miles of hiking/biking trails through ancient Hawaiian fish ponds making it perfect for walkers and joggers. The new Shops at Mauna Lani features island boutiques, fine dining and a gourmet full service supermarket. Foodland Farms carries freshly caught fish, grass-fed Big Island beef, locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as prepared foods.

All of these amenities are within walking distance from the Palm Villas, making it a most convenient location. Bordered by a Historic Preserve and the Mauna Lani North Course, it is also one of the most secluded complexes in the resort. With only 9 buildings and 44 units spread over 6 acres, it is the lowest density complex at Mauna Lani.

We moved from Long Island, NY to the Hamakua Coast in Hawaii in 2006. We love the tranquil and peaceful life here and decided that owning an additional property at the Mauna Lani Resort would enhance our Island lifestyle. We hope you enjoy your vacation at our island retreat.

Our location is in a privately gated, small group of homes, centrally located in the heart of the resort. Our C2 ground floor unit steps out onto a beautifully landscaped area leading to the waterfall pool and fitness center.

Perfect spot, well equipped!

We were very happy with our choice to stay here at the Palm Villas. The condo was clean, well stocked, and beautiful. We loved sitting on the lanai in the early morning to listen to all the birds - gorgeous common area. The pool was great and never filled with people. The condo had sand toys, boogie boards, and other beachy things that were perfect for our family. The neighbors were all wonderful. Lynn was great with communication and everything was easy to figure out. We would definitely stay here again. Close to some of the best beaches around! The Mauni Lani shops, easy to walk to, have free hula shows twice a week. We bought Ruth Chris gift cards from Costco and then went to their early bird specials, sat out on deck and had great view of the hula show!

Vacation perfection

This condo far exceeded our expectations. Paradise surrounded us every morning. Our family with two teenagers enjoyed the pool and beach access. However, this unit is just a short drive from Mauna Kena and Hapuna beaches which were day long visits with their ample shade. The owner also pampered us with Kona coffee, volcano honey and other staples not found in other rentals. The owners were extremely helpful with local recommendations. We are recommending this unit to all and look forward to a return visit in the future.

This location was wonderful. The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. The pictures don't do it justice. The property and resort were very clean. Wonderful beach near by.

This was our first time at Big Island. After a long trip from Germany we want to relax and want to visit very much points of interests.
In this very beautiful condo we find all what we need.
Very clean , very good beds in all bedrooms, a complete kitchen with all what you need for cooking.
All things for the beach like snorkeling, beach chairs, boards, umbrella.
A nice barbecue on the great lanai - the pool for swimming and relaxing.
I think we will come back! Thanks for all.

THE place to stay

We visit the Big Island twice a year and have been doing so for some time. This was our 17th trip always staying in a condo either at Waikoloa or Mauna Lani. I consider myself professor emeritus of these condos and Lynn’s condo I rate as one of the best, especially if you have children. First, the little things. Are the butcher block knives sharp? Some condo owners never sharpen them and one cannot cut a tomato. Is the condo clean? Is the kitchen well equipped? Is the air conditioning controlled so one cannot set it lower than 78? Ceiling fans everywhere? All of the little things are done right. Now for the more important features: Is the pool close? Is the area off the lanai spacious and well landscaped? Is there a BBQ grill on the lanai? Is the complex quiet? Yes, yes to all the above. I believe you will not find a nicer place to stay unless you scale way up.
