Groceries can be purchased in the town of Sequim or Port Townsend, both less than 20 minutes away, or from the 24 hour, full service grocery and deli located 5 miles west adjacent to the Seven Cedars Casino (which, by the way has 2 bars a restaurant, gaming tables, slots and live entertainment and dancing!).
Shopping, gallery hopping and restaurants are plentiful in Port Townsend. The lavender farms, animal park and shops of Sequim also attract folks from all over.
Four golf courses are located with in 25 minutes of this home. A few more courses are just 45 minutes away. Rainforests, stunning Crescent Lake and Forks (of Twilight fame) are located to the west. Easy day trips filled with picnics, hiking and birdwatching. Fresh and blue water fishing charters, bicycle and kayak rentals are available in Port Townsend. A community boat ramp is less than a mile away. Adjacent to the boat ramp are wetlands for wildlife watching.
