This individual house on the edge of the quiet village of Perinaldo has an enclosed terraced garden. Ideal for pets. A spacious living room leads onto a balcony with breathtaking views of sea and Alps. A kitchen & dining area adjoin the living room. There is also a bathroom on this level. The 2bedrooms are on the lower level & both lead onto a big shady patio with abundant comfortable garden furniture. Also on the lower level is an outside kitchen and dining area. Ideal for eating al fresco. The first bedroom is a twin, the second is a double with en suite bathroom. There is also a separate WC on this lower level. The house is comfortably furnished and feels like home. Well equipped kitchen, loads of books and painting Upon entering the gate to the house there is a large pergola which in the summer is covered with a vine of excellent white grapes. The rest of the land is on three terraces, typical of this area. From each terrace you can admire the never ending view of the sea

Perinaldo is the most ancient village in the valley of Crosia. It overlooks the Mediterranean to the South & the Maritime Alps to the North, situated at 572 m altitude & 20 minutes from the narrow picturesquely indented coastal fringe of the Italian Riviera, it has become known as the ideal summer retreat. Famous for it's stunning views & for being the birthplace of 3 internationally famous astronomers. It has a small but well known observatory. It remains nicely cool even during the hottest summer months. The sea is a short drive away. The French Riviera is at 30 minutes drive to the well known town of Menton were you can enjoy all the French specialities. The Italian riviera known as the Riviera dei Fiori goes from Ventimiglia to Taggia. Bordighera and San Remo are wonderful towns to explore. Every town has its weekly market which attracts people from both sides of the border. Just inland there are many picturesque villages to discover & explore.

Notes: The house is situated on a typical cobblestone street at the outskirts of the village. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with bathroom and twin bedroom. Both lead out through French windows onto large covered patio, with dining area and kitchen facilities and separate wc. Two outside staircases lead to 1st floor with comfortable living room and bathroom. The well equipped kitchen & dining area are enclosed in the veranda that has magnificent views over the Alps . It is an ideal place for the sunset which goes down behind the Mount Agel that overlooks Montecarlo. French windows lead from the living room and dining area onto the balcony surrounding the first floor. With stunning views over the Alps and sea.

French specialities available just across the border in Menton and Monte Carlo. Many well known restaurants in San Remo, Apricale, Pigna and Bordighera. Numerous excellent local restaurants. Menton with it's many famous botanical gardens is a delightful days expedition. For the walkers, there are many well maintained trails on both sides of the border.

Sightseeing: Tours of the numerous luxuriant botanical gardens. Visits to the many hinterland picturesque villages characterised by winding 'carrugi'. Caves at Balzi Rossi. San Remo with its elegant old villas along the Corso degli Inglesi. Famous picture gallery at Taggia. Easy access to unspoilt beaches.
