Maid service if required 5 room(s) , of which 3 Bedroom(s), Independent kitchen, Living room, Dining room, 2 bathrooms Surface area : 125 m2 Centre of Funchal is less than 5 min by car but walking is only for the young and fit Sea bathing a must during your stay at excellent municipal facilities of Lido or Ponta Gorda. Hiking and mountain walks along the famous levada walks are unmissable for their scenery and clear mountain air. Deep sea fishing and boat trips along Madeiras rugged coast see dolphins and whales. Visit Madeira Wine for a few free samples. Take the cable car to Monte and return on the famous tobbogan run. Visit the traditional Espetada restaurants and join in the folklore. Quiet location on western side of Funchal overlooking town and sea. 5 min drive to centre of town and to bathing complexes. Close to supermarket. It should be noted that Funchal is very hilly so walking usually involves steep inclines. Although walking from apartment to Funchal is downhill and takes 15-20min walking back is not so easy and a Taxi is recommended at about €3-4 or bus

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this apartment and a relaxing holiday. The apartment had everything you would need and was clean. Lots of room to spread out! Only negative thing I would say is that it is a 25 minute walk uphill from the hotel/shopping area of Funchal. There was however a bus stop at the end of the street.
