GET ON THE BEACH!
Our three-mile stretch of nearly empty white sand beach is a paradise for surfing, body surfing, boogie boarding, stand up paddle boarding, etc. Take surf lessons on Troncones beach and/or tackle one of the many nearby surf breaks, including Saladita, a.k.a. “The Wave Machine” (a great spot for beginners and long boarders) and The Ranch.
Majahua, our nearby fishing village offers boat rentals for surfing or fishing. Sport fishing excursions are also available. Surfboards and stand up paddle boards can be rented in Troncones and Majahua.
Plenty of fun to be had out of the water, as well. Go horseback riding or running on our crowd-free beach. Play beach volleyball or frisbee ’til the whales come home. Or, ride a bike into town for an ice cream, or into the countryside for some fresh mangoes (if they’re in season).
Many Troncones vacation rentals loan out bikes. Or, you can rent a bike or a scooter in town.
