Our Stay at Bear Den South

Bear Den South was a lovely,clean home on beautiful Cherokee Lake. The area around the house was very nice and the neighbors were all extremely friendly. The boat ramp and dock worked out well for us also, since we always bring our pontoon boat when we visit Cherokee. The house easily fit our family of 12 and the downstairs was great for the kids when it rained and they couldn't go out. We especially loved the game table and spent lots of time in the evenings playing cards. One thing that couldn't be beat was all of the little amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked and provided many little things like mustard and ketchup, that we didn't have to buy and then throw out when we left. There was an ample supply of paper products and soap for the dishwasher and washer. I know that that doesn't sound very exciting, but not having to take up precious cargo space in the car with them was huge. They have made provisions for small children, which will be great for us since our family is expecting a new member soon. We love going out to the small mom and pop restaurants that are in the area, and if you need to do any heavy duty shopping or want to go to bigger restaurants, Morristown is not too far away. I would recommend this house to anyone who is interested in visiting Cherokee. The house is awesome and working with the owners was easy, since they were always available to answer questions.
