About Mike Hardy

Hello there, my name is Michael Hardy I own and manage several properties within Los Suenos Resort & Marina. I also live in the resort and spend much of my time designing vacation packages for friends, customers, and relatives. Originally from San Antonio Texas I moved to Costa Rica in 1998 after graduating from UT Austin. I packed up my car and drove from Texas to Central America to take a job offer from the developer of Los Suenos Resort & Marina. We opened the 200 rooom Marriott Hotel in January 2000 and I stayed on for another eight years before opening my own real estate and vacation rental company. I live in Resort, work here in the resort and am always accessible - unlike other absentee owners or large management companies that you may find on VRBO. Family Trip !!!!

My family from the Florida and all stayed in this beautiful, well appointed condo with three bedrooms (all with flat screens), two nice bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The balcony which overlooks beautiful landscaping and the beach is very roomy and is furnished with table and chairs and comfy sofas/seating. While the condo is a great place to hang out and relax with family, the resort has many options for everyone. Golfing, fishing, hiking and visiting the spa are just a few. The restaurant choices are varied and are a nice walk or golf cart ride away. We also enjoyed venturing off the resort where local restaurants are within walking distance or a cab ride away for a trip into Jaco. Arranging kayaking and zip lining with the help of the HRG concierge was easy and pick up and drop off at the resort was convenient. We all look forward to going back for another visit soon!!!

I have stayed in this beautiful condo, and it was as nice as any five-star hotel I've ever booked. The location is great, close to good restaurants, golf, tennis and the beach. The decor of the unit and its amenities are first class....tastefully decorated, clean and new, comfortable beds, great veranda with cushy furniture. It felt like home! I would definitely return for another visit, and I highly recommend it to any sophisticated traveler looking for a top-notch rental. And the entire neighborhood is safe and meticulously maintained.
