SECLUDED NEW HOPE TREE HOUSE IN THE HEART OF BUCKS COUNTY

Bucks County is home to acres of preserved farm land and boasts 9 wineries and offers year round activities. It is conveniently located 30 miles from Philadelphia and 70 miles from NYC with train service from nearby Yardley, Princeton or Trenton train stations. Come watch the leaves change, pick apples (Solebury Orchards) tackle the Amazing Maize Maze (Howell Farm - Titusville), cheer on the High Heel Drag Queen Halloween Night Race (New Hope), take a Ghost Tour (New Hope) or view the Scarecrow Exhibit (Peddler’s Village – Lahaska) in the autumn. In winter the New Hope/Lambertville Winter Fest held in January brings out ice sculpters, live bands and cold weather activities. Or get in the holiday mood by viewing the Grand Illumination at Peddler’s Village (Lahaska) and checking out the Gingerbread House competition. Or jump on the New Hope/Ivyland Railroad for a ride with Santa and then head out to the Byer’s Choice Factory (Chalfont). Don't miss the re-enactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware on Christmas Day. No better time than spring to flea market (Golden Nugget – Lambertville, Rice’s Market – New Hope) or welcome the shad at the annual Shad Fest (Lambertville) which brings over 10,000 visitors to the area. Ahh, summer in Bucks! Countless farm markets for picking or enjoying the fruit of the land. Canoe the Delaware River, bike the canal path, watch fireworks from the New Hope/Lambertville Bridge, dine al fresco (too many to mention!) hike through Ringing Rock State Park (Upper Black Eddiy – don’t forget your hammer the rocks really do ring) or take the kids to Sesame Place. The options are limitless!

Exhausted after your daily outing? Head back to our cozy treehouse and relax by the firepit . The “treehouse” is newly decorated with sleek, modern décor. It can comfortably accommodate 2 – 4 people. Square footage is 900 sf interior space and 200 sf outside decking. It may, however, not be suitable for a young child or physically challenged adult due to an open, spiral staircase. The home can be accessed from the second floor to avoid use of the staircase if necessary. Please call the owners with any questions.

Circumstances do not permit us to live in the home yet (i.e. a family) but we know in the future it will be our “happy place”. Come enjoy our Tree House for a long weekend, a month or longer.
