We travel from the US to Cuernavaca frequently and decided to try staying in a vacation home instead of the usual hotels or B&Bs. So glad we did! The home was elegant, very spacious and beautifully furnished. The property was immaculately clean thanks to the full time staff who tended to all housekeeping, the peaceful gardens and delicious meals. Our elevated location was perfect for enjoying the excellent weather high above Cuernavaca's Valley downtown area and afforded us great views from our gorgeous infinity pool area. My husband played tennis daily while us ladies lounged poolside and swam in the heated pool! We decided to hire the household cook for the week and eat like kings for very little cost relative to US prices. The home owners, who originally built the whole subdivision, were there to meet us upon arrival and they were delightful and most helpful. We enjoyed getting to know them very much. What wonderful people!! They have lovingly decorated this home with iconic art and old world furnishings throughout. Our family ventured out to neighboring Tepotzlan and El Socalo but unanimously decided to change our planned excursions just to allow for more time in this great home. We are so very happy to have found this treasure, as we travel often using VRBO and all agreed this was one of the best ever.
There was no better way to receive this new year than staying at Casa Los Sueños! Our family and our "compadres" family enjoyed this beautiful house for one week. You can feel a special vibration in that place which makes you enjoy and relax at every moment. Either swimming, playing tenis, drinking tequila at the terrace or at the fireplace at night we all had a great time! Going to Tepoztlan is a good idea as it is only 15 minutes away. In New Year's eve we really had an spectacular view of the fireworks of Cuernavaca's Valley. Fam. Acuña Herrera.
We rented the property with another family, between the 2 families there were 6 kids. They had a great time swimmimg , playing basketball , tennis , and had a Ping pong tournament. The house is in excellent condition and we enjoyed every corner of it. We highly reccomend the sauna and calling in a masage therapist who comes to the property. ( ask owners)
Jorge who is the keeper of the house is really helpfull. Lovely weekend!
