Brand new detached villa at the new resort of Perola da Lagoa close to the Obidos lagoon and 10 minutes from the world famous golf resort of Praia del Rey. The property has been decorated and equipped to the highest standards & offers extremely comfortable, spacious & flexible accommodation. It benefits from its own garden, private swimming pool, sun terraces, outdoor bbq, laundry room and large garage. The open plan living space has a lounge area seating 8 with flat screen 32' TV with satellite & DVD player/library and dining area with table for 8. The large well equipped kitchen includes dish washer and all modern conveniences. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms including impressive master bedroom suite with king size bed, luxury bathroom with twin sinks, bath and shower and large balcony with table and chairs. Bedroom 4 is located on the ground floor and alternatively can be used as a 2nd lounge and also has a 32' Flat screen TV & DVD player. Views of the lagoon are enjoyed from master bedroom

Perola da Lagoa is a new development nestled within a pine forest overlooking the stunning Obidos lagoon. Close by is the famous golf resort of Praia del Rey and the new golf resort of Bom Sucesso. The area also benefits from stunning beaches with miles of sand and surf which attracts surfers from all round the world. You will also find great surf bars along the coastal area serving delicious local food. Located close by is the fishing town of Peniche which is famous for its fish restaurants which line the road by the fishing port. Twenty minutes away is the historic medieval town of Obidos where you will find cobbled streets, quaint shops and a castle together with the stunning bougainvillea which covers many of the houses . The wider area boasts a range of entertainment throughout the year with art exhibitions, wine festivals, concerts and cultural events together with the fishing and water sports on offer. Alternatively enjoy walking, hiking and cycling in the unspoilt countryside.

Directions: Exit Car Hire at Lisbon airport follow road through tunnel to roundabout. Take 1st right exit onto 2nd circular. Approx 1.2 km later take exit 5 for A8 for LOURES/LEIRIA. Follow signs & join A8. Go through the motorway toll booth – take ticket at first toll and pay at the next toll. Exit A8 at Junction 13. At T junction turn left (sign post Praia d’el Rey). Follow road back under motorway and take first left turn (sign post Praia d’el Rey/Bom Sucesso). Approx 3.2 km later turn right at a traffic light junction (blue sign post Praia d’el Rey/Bom Sucesso) heading uphill. Follow road for approx 3 km and straight over at roundabout through Vau. Follow road past lagoon on right and Bom Sucesso entrance on left approx 4.2km later turn right into Perola da Lagoa. Follow road until you reach roundabout with development boards. Turn left. At next roundabout straight over (2nd exit) follow road until reach left turn for Rua du Veleiro and the villa is 2nd property on left.

Wonderful villa in an ideal location!

The villa is fantastic - very modern, exceptionally clean and the ideal base for our holiday. The 8 of us were able to comfortably live in the villa for the week and with the addition of a lovely pool and built in BBQ made the experience all the more pleasurable for our holiday. The pictures don't really convery the size of the villa, and the downstairs bedroom (shown with sofa bed) is perfectly suitable as a permanent bedroom as you have a large lounge/diner as well! It is very easy to find by car, only 10 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches, and near to supermarkets and nearby towns for day trips out. The development is still in the process of being built, however, this did not affect our holiday at all as there was no building during August it seems, and it was very peaceful and quiet! Thanks Michael & Karen!
