Panoramic view of Marco Island beach with approximately 20 mile ocean vista and conveniently situated in central location on Marco Island’s crescent beach. I have a middle unit with the largest patio/balcony (over 300 sq ft) in the entire complex that overlooks the beach with year round sunset views. Secure building and elevator with covered parking. Apollo is the only private condominium building on the beach with restaurant and bar attached to the building. Restaurant was recently voted best happy hour on the island. The recently renovated 1 bedroom 1 bath unit has a walk-in shower, King Size bed with 2 tv’s, vcr and dvd player. The unit comes with towels, bedding, dishes, pots, pans, and silverware, as well as beach supplies such as beach towels, sand toys, coolers, and sunchairs. My unit also has high speed cable modem for internet access and Wi-Fi.
The Apollo complex has a pool, whirlpool, sauna room, workout room, two tennis courts, laundry facilities, covered parking, DIRECT BEACH access from private boardwalk. You are also walking distance from para-sailing, wave runner rentals, beach shops, Marco Island movie theaters, and so much more. Marco Island is truly a tropical getaway with easy access to The Everglades, downtown Naples, Miramar Outlet Malls and several nearby golf courses. Fun for the whole family. I chose Marco Island for its temperate climate and tradewind breezes. Easy access to multiple well manicured and challenging golf courses. Great fishing and huge beach that is fun for the whole family.
Relaxing sunset views, peaceful ocean breeze, short drive to Naples, and just 3 hours to Disney World and 2 hours to Busch Gardens. Fishing and fresh seafood is spectacular.
We have been staying at the Apollo for about the last eight years (six years in Unit 205). We have always enjoyed our time at the Apollo. You can’t beat the sunsets and the views of the beach. The extended second floor deck makes the whole unit seem larger and gives an even better view of the entire beach. There is also a large shared space on the East side of the building with morning sun for reading or relaxing. The units are small but have all the necessary appliances including a new stove and refrigerator and other conveniences. Since we are here for an extended period of time, I do use the kitchen and appliances for almost every evening meal. I have found them to be very satisfactory. The bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed with a new comforter. The building facilities are excellent and well maintained. If walking the beach or swimming in the pool aren’t enough, of if the weather is a little inclement (very rarely), there is always the exercise room with plenty of equipment to complete your exercise routine. The owner has always been very helpful to us and has always responded to any of our concerns. The weather on Marco Island is some of the best in South Florida and you will certainly enjoy the island and its beautiful beaches.
We spent two weeks at this condo on Marco Island and for the most part were pleased with the facilities. It was a bit cool, so we did not take advantage of the hot tub or pool but it was a very attractive area and was well maintained. The area was excellent, great ocean view, large deck area if you wanted to sunbathe off of the beach, or eat outside. Very secure building with key access to the lobby and elevators as well as the beach. There is a restaurant on-site if you do not want to walk or drive somewhere to eat. Lots of great restaurants close by and only a 30 minute or so drive to Naples that has great dining and shopping. Breakfast at Stonewall's just down the street is a wonderful option.
The condo itself has everything you might need in the kitchen, it is small but works. Bed is comfortable. Overall it could stand a bit of an update, but clean and worked fine for us for our two week stay.
This was our second time staying at the Apollo, the weather was beautiful. Close to many good restaurants and an invigorating walk to others. Condo looks right onto the beach and we were at the pool every day of our 10 day stay. Enjoy the low key environment on the island, good food and plenty of activities. The condo could use a few updates but all in all it met our needs well. Felt very safe walking after dark to dinner. Would definitely recommend the Apollo, and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to coming back with family.
The apartment building is nicely located at the south end of the magnificent 3 mile beach.
The included beach chairs and umbrella were very handy. We loved watching the incredible sunsets from the balcony. The views out to sea are wonderful.
The pool area is beautifully maintained as is the entire building. The on site tennis courts are in great shape.
The apartment is pleasantly appointed with a super comfortable king size bed in the bedroom. The unit is compact but very functional with newer kitchen appliances. It was perfect for the two of us.
The Sunset Grille is conveniently located in the building and is a fun place to have a drink and or a meal. They also provide takeout.
The owner was very considerate and helpful when some unexpected personal issues arose and was always available via email.
