Hendersonville Cottage Rental Photos and Description
3 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms. Mountain views and small vinya
On top of Davis Mountain, 'Heaven's Door Step' is located in a secluded acres in a rural area above the Laurel Park just west of Hendersonville off Hwy. 64 on the way to Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest.
Our home features a large rustic tiled, screened deck with working natural stone fireplace (with a generous supply of cut wood) surrounded by our newly planted orchard and 'Frazier Family Fir Tree Farm'. The twenty mile view extends toward Asheville and beyond. We have recently added a hot tub where you can sit and see the mountains while in the spa. The area is relaxing with almost as many wakers, joggers, dog walkers, and just plain 'walk for the view' strollers than cars.
The rising sun will greet you each morning and put you to bed each evening.
Well, that's just about it. Obviously, we enjoy 'Heaven's Door Step' and believe you will too. Call if you have any questions or concerns. We would love to chat awhile.

About Carol Frazier
Our mountain home has been our family since 1990, when my parents purchased it. We purchased from them in 2003 and enjoyed it so much we decided to rent it out for others to enjoy.
Carol Frazier purchased this cottage in 1990
Why Carol Frazier chose Hendersonville
Our home is a vintage brick ranch built in 1958 by a developer or builder named Mr Fell and was part of the McCarson farm. The second owner was Clio Wortman, who was a popular architect in Fla. He designed one of the buildings in Main street Hendersonville. My parents bought it from him in 1990. The legend is the wife of the first owner liked the view from the hill where the house was going to built, that she described it as being at 'heaven's doorstep.' So we decided to give it that name.
What makes this cottage unique
We have built a beautiful 20x25 screened porch with a stone fireplace, with a slate patio floor. You can enjoy meals while looking at the mts and listening to the birds and the quietness.
It sits upon a hill on 1.25 acres with lots of greenery and stonework.
There are multiple swings for your enjoyment and a bonfire pit in the back.
A new addition of a hot tub outside the sliding glass doors takes in the view of the mountains.
