New Hanalei Hawaiian-Style Home - Tvnc 1075

This house is magical!! We used the extremely well appointed kitchen every day, enjoyed the immaculate accommodations and the location could not have been more convenient. The house has everything you could ask for, from the cast iron skillets, to an amazing sound system, to boogie boards and beach chairs. We spent a week here and now know you have to plan a longer vacation! Hiking the Na Pali coastline is a must. There is no better location than this home; so close to beautiful Hanalei Bay and even closer to quaint Hanalei town. The grocery store had amazingly affordable prices, much to our surprise. If this is where you choose to spend your vacation, you will not be disappointed!

The location (steps from the main street and short walk to the Hanalei beach) and layout of the house were great.
The house is located in a quiet cul de sac. We were three couples and had plenty of room. The garbage disposal leaked when we first arrived and it was promptly replaced. We found Joan's "Kauai Tips" handout about things to do, Farmer's Markets and restaurants helpful. We have stayed in 3 different homes on the north shore of Kauai and this one rated #1. The kitchen is so well equiped that we ate nearly all our meals at the house. It was nice to have access to beach chairs from the garage and plenty of beach towels. We would definitely love to stay here again!

I took my family to Kauai for a special vacation: two sons, daughter-in-law, girlfriend, father-in-law, and two year old. I couldn't possibly recommend this beautiful house and its location more. The photos on the web site don't adequately convey how lovely the house and garden are. The house is commodious, spacious, beautifully maintained and clean, wonderfully furnished, allows family or friends to have some space from each other because of the arrangement of the rooms, and has a very peaceful and serene feel to it. As you walk in, you see through the house out into a beautiful lush garden and an open space preserve beyond. But -- not only that -- it's a five minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on Kauai and a two-minute walk into Hanalei, my favorite town on the island with its great restaurants and shops. Given the entire island, we couldn't have picked a better spot. The kitchen is beautifully equipped for even the most gourmet meal preparation, the furnishings are comfortable, there are CD's and games, guide books, candles, comfortable bedding and towels, everything one would want for a wonderful vacation. We plan to return soon and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!
