Joel and Valerie are fortunate to occupy this beautiful, remodeled contemporary home. Valerie attended the University of Texas and didn't leave and Joel joined her as an Austinite in 2000. We have 3 wonderful boys that range in age from 6-21. We love the outdoors, our 3 laying hens and beautiful orange trees and vegetable garden. Our favorite way to spend the evening is grilling on the deck, swimming and watching the sun set over the hills!
Valerie Granoff purchased this house in 2003
We couldn't resist the incredible backyard with the beautiful view, orange tree and serenity of trees and hills. We take great pride in our organic garden, fruit trees and landscape. Our property is alive year-round with seasonal blooms, herbs & veggies and yes fresh eggs and oranges from late Nov through early Jan! We purchased and remodeled our home with family and entertaining in mind. There's great flow between the rooms yet plenty of space to slip away to for private time. Our home's central location puts is just 15 or so from most of Austin's hot spots.
Our home is the perfect retreat and getaway for all!
1. Families and groups enjoy a perfect Austin getaway. Our home has everything needed for luxurious living inside or out with classic hill country views and all that Austin has to offer just a short car ride away.
2. Business travelers who visit Austin and want a private retreat with all the furnishings of executive living are close to downtown and all major highways. We have everything needed for business entertaining (including our favorite private chef in town) and a great floor plan suitable for 1, 4 or more. Our property makes an ideal for a small team business retreat.
3. Our home can serve as home base for movie crews, actors and visiting performers. Our killer views and open flowing floor plan makes the property well suited for movie and commercial shoots.
4. Groups visiting any of Austin's major and not so major events will find our home to be ideally located to downtown and surrounding areas ... just far enough away to feel like a get away yet close enough that time isn't wasted traveling long distances.
