Great area! Must see to enjoy!

We loved the area!!!! The condo was very comfortable. Well stocked with kitchen utensils. Short walk to outdoor pool. Did not find restaurants in Schuss Village like we had hoped. Comfortable beds. Clean.

We had issues with the pool key, some lights not working and some information. We thought we had a grill but there wasn't one so we just picked up a cheap one. We went to the "private beach" but were told we were NOT ALLOWED to be there. That was very disappointing because it's a WONDERFUL beach area and we would have loved to spend a day there. At the time we visited there were only 4 other people there. VERY empty!
We found the workers to be very helpful. Loved the Schuss golf course would like to have golfed the others. Stores close by. SHORTS in Bellaire! Lots of lakes and fishing opportunities. Affordable area to eat and shop in towns near by. Not overly crowded at SCHUSS seemed to be a little more at Summet and Cedar. Low key, laid back at SCHUSS more "upper class" atmosphere at others. Young family comfortable are at SCHUSS.

Suggestions: MARKETING!!!! GREAT PLACE PROMOTE IT!!!!
Leave a map of the Shanty Creek area. Where to find other pools, resort information and what's available. We were confused at first but quickly learned are way around. It would have been helpful to have a detailed map. We did leave one that we picked up from the Summit. Leave number where help can be reached (like when pool card quit working) and lights not working. We also had a major issues with bees nest on the deck and railing. We sprayed and removed. But over all a very nice stay and would most likely rent again! Fall colors would be a great time to revisit!!!!! Thanks!
FYI: We had to get a different pool card so the SCHUSS card is not working. They said owner would have to renew. They did give us 2 resort (brown) card for the remainder of our stay but if rented this week they expire. :-(
