This modern 1 bedroom, 1 bath is part of an 8 unit historical building that was completely remodeled in 2006. It has original hardwood floors, slate counter tops, Bosch appliances and a huge open kitchen. The marble bath and glass and Wedge wood vanity complete the best way to enjoy your stay in South Beach. Flat screen TV with 100s of cable channels for your entertainment as well as WiFi Internet access. Condo is right in the middle of South Beach -- walking distance to all the bars, nightclubs, beaches and restaurants, but still located on a quiet residential street. If you aren't here to play, the condo has the easiest access to the causeway to head downtown and to work or to the I-95. As long time locals we will even share with you our favorite spots!!
We bought the entire building in 2004 and remodeled it from top to bottom. It was literally rebuilt in place as it was an historic building from 1924. This makes it not your average vacation rental from the Bosch appliances to the hurricane impact windows. We furnished the listing for our personal use so we think that also sets us apart from your average South Beach Rental.
We live in Aspen, CO and come and go from our South Beach Rental. I love that I can WALK ANYWHERE -- and I do. My husband loves that he can take a taxi anywhere on the beach for around $4. Our 7 year old son loves that we can walk to the amazing kids park 1.5 blocks away.
Both my husband and I use the tennis courts that are just 1 block away. The Whole Foods -- 2 blocks away -- is super handy. I love how big the apartment feels -- even though it is a 1 bedroom it has the feeling of space and separate areas. Even though when you are in South Beach you are on the go with so much to do -- the big sectional sofa is nice to come home to and watch some TV.
I tell everyone -- one experience not to be missed is renting a beach chair at the Delano hotel -- 17th Ave and Collins. The best $20 you will ever spend !!! Also order a Nina Fresa (cocktail) as Sushi Samba on Lincoln Road at the corner with Pennsylvania. Email us for more tips or read on !!

I love Nikki beach for lunch NOT on Sundays when it is a crazy party $$ - $$$$
Prime 112 is amazing ridiculous steak but you will spend easily over $150 for 2 people $$$$$
Monty's Oyster bar on the bay — a little spring break looking but great raw bar happy hour — 3rd or 2nd and Alton $$ - $$$
Yardbird at 16th and Lenox is the new in spot -- AND IT NOT CRAZY EXPENSIVE -- it is sort of modern Southern Food and YUMMY $$ - $$$
Rosa Mexicano on Lincoln road -- amazing guacamole and Sangria !! $$$
Mr Chow's at the W hotel — crazy expensive, amazing and fun Chinese food and see and be seen $$$$$

Tomas and I have recently moved from Costa Rica to Aspen, Colorado. We lived in South Beach and Coral Gables for 4 years before departing for Costa Rica with our son for 5 years. We have an Argentinian Dogo and a Cane Corso -- big dogs -- that complete our family. Our business is Real Estate Development and we use HomeAway for pleasure (Barcelona, St Tropez, Salt Lake City) as well as a part of our business. The best thing about vacation rentals is the people we meet virtually and for real !!
Elizabeth purchased this apartment in 2004
We fell in love with this building building and began to remodel it in 2004 in the middle of Elizabeth's chemotherapy for breast cancer. In February 2014, Elizabeth will reach the 10 year mark cancer free. The building is filled with good Karma -- when we had 5 major hurricane in 18 months, the trees always fell away from the building !! We love it when we stay here. It is an amazing Art Deco 1924 building that we redid down to the bare studs and rebuilt it in place for a year and a half !!
We are on a quiet residential street, but just a 10 minute walk to the Ocean and 8 minutes to bars and nightclubs -- or a $5 can ride if you are in heels !! We are 1.5 blocks from Flamingo Park with the pool and kids pool park, tennis courts, soccer fields and kids park. We are 2 blocks from Whole Foods and 5 blocks from the big Publix. We have a Deco bike station 1/2 a block away !! You don't need a car, but we have parking if you have one !!
What makes our property the most unique is that is was fully remodeled and furnished to be a vacation rental and one that we use ourselves. We skimped on nothing from WiFi to a fully equipped kitchen to mattresses !!
The first impression walking into the apartment was that it was very clean and spacious. The bedroom with the king sized bed is very comfortable and again, spacious. 3 of us stayed here and the one ended up on the sofa bed said it was comfortable. Every afternoon when I came back for a break I ended up passing out on the super comfy lounge chair in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and kitchenware you'll need. The place is 5-10mins walk to the beach/bars/clubs/great restaurants/whole foods/walgreen/7-11 ..and about 15-20mins walk to Lincoln Rd. We walked home every night at around 3:00-4:00am and was able to pick up pizza on the way and felt completely safe. When we arrived we took the taxi from the airport for a flat rate, and the day we were leaving we had time, and decided to take the express bus, the bus stop is @ 9th and Washington (5mins walk) and the ride was about 40mins. Elizabeth is super accommodating and also responded in a timely fashion, making our stay super easy. Her handy man Marco is just as great. We needed parking pass for one night, and the parking pass was on our door when we came back from the mall after a brief phone call. Stay here for a relaxing and great vacation!
The apartment was exactely as describe, very clean, well equipped and located in a safe and quiet residential district, only a few blocks from the beach and the amazing life of SoBe. Elizabeth was very helpful from booking till checkout. It was a pleasure to do business with. We would definately stay there again.
We stayed here over a weekend for a bachelorette party in South Beach and couldn't have been more pleased. It was my second time visiting South Beach and I found that staying in this spacious condo was much nicer, spacious, and more accomodating overall than my previous stay in a botique hotel. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. Location was nice, It is a short walk to the beach, shopping, food, etc. The unit and building was very clean and safe. I have no complaints other than the fact that sound travels easily in the building...the unit below us must have had children as we could hear them crying in the morning, but this was still not much of an issue for us...and would not impact any future decision to stay here again..it was still tremendously quiter than if we had stayed in a hotel. The photos and description of this unit are very accurate. We had a car (it was nice to have a place to park it right outside the building) but everything was within walking distance so we never even moved it. One evening we went into the city by taxi and found that it was also very affordable. Elizabeth was also a pleasure to do business with.
EVERYTHING was great. Elizabeth is the BEST all around. Ive stayed twice (may & june) and LOVED it. She goes beyond just making it a great place but having EVERYTHING you would possibly need without ever having to step outside!

It was our first time to Miami South Beach and after doing hours of research we decided to stay at this condo and we are so glad that we did.
The apartment is clean, has a fantastic location ( a few blocks to the beach and a 15 minute walk to Lincoln Road Mall) and is very reasonably priced. The owners are helpful, responsive and trustworthy.
I cannot fault this place and would definitely stay there again if I was in South Beach.
The condo is on a nice quiet residential street in the heart of South Beach. We are 7 blocks to the sand. 9 blocks to Lincoln Road with all the shops and cafes and 5 blocks from the hot nightlife of Washington Ave.
There is a Whole Foods just 2 blocks away and a big Publix grocery store 5 blocks away.
We are 1.5 blocks South of Flamingo Park with it tennis courts swimming pool, kids water park and playground and TWO dog parks !!
