2 Bedrooms + Loft (2Q, 2T) and 2 Baths close to river.

If you just need a quick getaway, this is the place to be. Located at the end of a gravel road, Hamm Holler will certainly recharge those batteries. Soak up the beauty of Fall in our 6 person hot tub filled with authentic West VA spring water. Watch plenty of trains go by behind the cabin and put some pennies on the tracks to see what happens. Walk down to the Potomac River and check out the wildlife. Bring the pup; we're dog friendly. No matter what your preference, we've got you covered!
About Derrick Hamm

We purchased this cabin as a get away from the hustle of living in the DC area. Our quiet escape just a couple hours away that offers us the time to relax and rejuvenated ourselves. Truly a private cabin, close to the Potomac River with easy access to Berkeley Springs for a massage, lunch and some antique shopping or hike through the Paw Paw tunnel. The kids walk to the river and skip stones, in summer take a hot dip and our son does a little fishing. We say, 'It is just not a cabin, but a place where are memories are made.'

If you want quiet, beautiful scenery and a relaxing time then read our journal. This is the perfect vacation spot for you. We chose this area because of the river access, proximity to Berkeley Springs, state parks, recreation including rafting, canoing and skiing, shopping and every convenience needed in a private setting at the end of a gravel road.

What makes this cabin unique

We are truly a private cabin. You only pass one house on Lightsville Ln. as you travel to the end of the road where the house sits. Our other neighbor is hidden by the trees and we have never seen them. You see more trains than people.Walk to the River, smashing pennies on the train tracks, viewing the wildlife that comes by everyday, big fires in the fire pits, soaking in the hot tub, star gazing, going shopping...

Additional information about rental rates

The security deposit is due within 3 days after the rental agreement is signed.
Rents are due within 30 days of arrival.
If your dates are within 30 days of arrival all monies are due upon the signing of the rental agreement.
If dates are reserved within 5 days of arrival we require that you pay by echeck or credit card via the Homeaway/VRBO website.
Fees And Taxes State of West Virginia Sales Tax = 6%.
Morgan County Hotel and Motel Tax = 4%.
Pet Fee = $25 per night and and additional $100 security deposit.
Administration Fee = $15 and waived if paying by cash, check or echeck.
Your dates are not confirmed and reserved until Rental Agreement is signed and security deposit is paid.
Our rate includes the cleaning fee.
We do have firewood available, at no fee to you. However, we will charge for excessive burning. If you plan on burning day and night, please bring your own.
We do not rent to more than 6 non related adults.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Charming and relaxing

Hamm Holler was the perfect size for me and five friends. We grilled, hiked, made smores, and played board games for an extended weekend at this secluded cabin. It was the perfect getaway. I would highly recommend this cabin to my friends.

Relaxing weekend

Other than the nail-biter Ravens game, this was this most relaxing weekend. Hot tub + wood stove + river + hiking at Cacapon State Park = awesome.

Best Vacation In A Long Time!

We had such a blast here! The dogs loved running around! We all loved watching the trains go by! So peaceful and calm. The bench near the little stream was one of my favorite places outside.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very clean! Wonerful little cabin in the mountains!

We will for sure be coming back!!

My family and I met here for an early Thanksgiving. We had a great time and the dog was in heaven. The place was well kept and the process for booking the cabin was very easy.
