Fort Myers Beach is actually a part of Lee County's Estero Island, a narrow strip of land that is one mile wide at its widest point. Though, it is best known for its near perfect climate, abundant sunkissed sandy beaches and ideal location for enjoying a wide range of water sports, this city offers much more than just a beach break for the vacationer. The city is home to two golf courses and has abundant shopping and find dining restaurants. Times Square is the hub of shopping and dining on the beach. This is the place to go if you are interested in nature as there are many birds living on the beach and in the mangroves.
This is also a great spot for shelling, boating, kayaking, bicycling, jetskiing, parasailing, swimming and of course, just taking a nap and getting a tan. You can rent equipment right there on Estero Blvd.
There is a Publix Grocery within 1/4 mile, a library, marina, small restaurants, and the trolley stop is beside the ocean access #16 which you can ride up and down Estero Blvd. on for a minimal fee. Ride down to Lover's Key one day - you will thoroughly enjoy the trip.
Since the island is very narrow, you can walk to the back bay and there are many uninhabited keys within the bay that play host to hundreds of different species of birds, plants and mammals.
We offer a beach cooler that you can pull to carry your drinks/food to the beach, also some beach chairs and we also offer a 7 1/2' Unbrella and sand anchor.
