Luxury apartment with breathtaking views of the sea, harbour and the Mourne mountains. 5 minutes from the town centre, shops, bars and restaurants. This is a truly delightful accommodation with open plan living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen leading to your bedroom and bathroom.
Nearest Airport : DUBLIN at 12 Miles
Nearest Beach : beach at 10 Metres
Car: not necessary

Skerries is a beautiful fishing village and seaside retreat, 20 miles from Dublin City, and approx 20 minutes from Dublin Airport. Our Apartment is situated close to many tourist attractions, Ardgillan Demesne, one of Fingals County Architectural Masterpieces, although referred to as a Castle, the residence at Ardgillan is a large country-style house with castellated embellishments, is 10 minutes by car. The famous Newgrange ancient buriel grounds are only 30 minutes drive .Shops, Restaurants, and Bars, are all within walking distance.

Beautiful, Clean, Cozy.

My husband and I are from the states, we found this apartment to be absolutely wonderful and better than the pictures! Valerie was a gracious host who took the time to be helpful and accommodating. The view was excellent, the sound of the waves peaceful, the apartment clean and inviting. We only have good things to say and wonderful memories of this place, hope we get to return someday!

Sunset Crag deserves the 5 stars we give it

To book an apartment for a month from the Internet might be considered a little risky,but it proved to be one of the best risks we ever took! Sunset Crag in Skerries is a truly lovely apartment and was everything we could have wished for. The views are superb and the apartment itself is spotlessly clean, very well maintained, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We stayed there for a month in October last year and liked it so much we have just returned home after spending two weeks there in February and have booked another week in June.! Valerie, the owner is a lovely lady.She looked after us so well and had left bread, butter and homemade jam in the kitchen for us on arrival.

The apartment is little more than a 5 minute walk from the town. Skerries is a lovely town with good restaurants, coffee shops and small local shops. The big chains are only a short drive away but it is nice to stay somewhere that there are none! There are also some wonderful walks by the sea and interesting places to visit in the locality. Sunset Crag deserves the 5 stars we would give it.

Incredible view!

We stayed here twice this year- a shorter stay in Spring and nearly two weeks in August. We know the area very well and came with our three year old daughter and two month old baby. We had a fantastic time and the apartment was very nice, comfortable and clean and accommodated all 4 of us without any problems. The views are fantastic; it is right on the sea. In fact our daughter calls it ‘The Sea House!’. Skerries is a lovely sea-side town with great walks and beaches. The apartment itself is only a 5 minute walk into town. We would definitely recommend it and hope to stay again.

We had a great end to our Europe trip on the east coast of Ireland. The views of the ocean are exceptional, and owners very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walks along coast and visiting the town of Skerries windmills and shops.

Room with a view

We spent four days at Sunset Crag in the middle of May and had a wonderful time. The accommodation was first class; everything was clean, tidy and modern; the kitchen facilities were also first class; and the views across the bay, to Skerries harbour and further afield to the Cooley Mountains and the Mourne Mountains, were superb. The only complaint was that there were gale force winds during our stay but, hey, we can't blame Sunset Crag for that! In fact it didn't deter us taking numerous walks and still having a lovely break.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
