With direct access (5 meters) to the beach of Megali Ammos the beach front accommodation offers you amazing sea views. It comprises of the ground floor of a family holiday house. The “SeaHouse” can accommodate from 2-4 persons. A 30sq.m excellent equipped house with one bedroom (sleeps 2), and one living room that can accommodate two more persons (either on a double or two single beds). Large veranda/garden, offering panoramic sea views! 5’ minutes walking distance from the centre of Skiathos town, and 2’ minutes from the nearest bus stop (No 4) and super market. At the beach you can find water sports, tavernas, bars and restaurants. Do not hesitate to contact us for further information and photos.

Idyllic location, gorgeous clean house

We spent a week here in late May/early June and right from the start, we loved every minute. The house is small but perfect for a couple (it would be too cramped for 4 people, though it can sleep 4) and extremely well-equipped, well maintained and clean. The owner (who speaks excellent English) collected us from the airport free of charge, which was a fantastic bonus.

The house is located right on the beach and has the most incredible terrace overlooking the sea, with three different areas to sit and read/eat/sunbathe, plus two sun loungers. It is also pleasantly shaded in parts by mature fruit trees, which is great if you burn easily.

The supermarket, which sells fresh bread daily and a great selection of fruit, veg, cheese etc, is a five minute walk away, and there are some great bars and tavernas on the beach so you never have to go far for lunch or refreshments. Skiathos Town is also minutes away, so you can drink and eat there every night and stroll home with ease. Despite all the nearby facilities, the terrace and house are quiet and peaceful.

The only downside is that the terrace is apparently shared with the owner's family, who are only in Skiathos during the peak season. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves in early June, which is perfect if you are a couple and prefer your privacy, but bear this in mind if you have a problem sharing the terrace with someone else.


Definitely not recommended for toddlers and small kids, as there is a sheer drop from the terrace to the beach.

Wonderful location

We spent a wonderful week here in May. The apartment is small but is very well kept and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. But it is the outdoor area that makes this place so special. The terrace is a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun, with beautiful views of the bay, and the beach only a few steps away. We went at the beginning of the season so had the terrace to ourselves and the beach was very quiet, but it could get very busy at the height of the season. Location was great, the apartment being set in a quiet established traditional area, but the pretty town is only ten minutes walk away, with a huge choice of bars and tavernas and a picture postcard harbour area, which had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to it. Again I would imagine it could get very busy peak season.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful, collecting us from the airport, and arranging a taxi back for us, and was always available on the phone if we had needed anything.
We had a perfect, relaxing week at Sea House and would definitely consider returning to this lovely place in the future.

wonderful position

We had a wonderful week here in August 2008. It is perfectly positioned on a lovely beach with excellent tavernas close by.
At first I was disappointed. The kitchen is miniscule (and ditto the accommodation if you tried to squeeze four people in). There is no bath but a small shower room - quite adequate. Bedroom is great. Terrace is wonderful but be aware that it may be shared if the next-door house is occupied: the property is attached left, right and above to other properties, and you walk across next-door's part of the terrace to get down to the wonderful sea.
Actually none of this mattered in the end and we had a marvellous time. We ate the figs from the tree outside our front door. The owners couldnt have done more for us and were quite charming. It was very sad to leave.

Idealic Beach Apartment in Delightful Skiathos

Having searched through about 6 pages of Skiathan apartment accommodation pages on Google, I stumbled upon this gem of a place. And they actually had availability for the whole duration of our stay. Finding a place as idealic as this, with availability, you have to be very lucky! And it made all the difference to our holiday.

The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing, care free holiday. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, toaster, grill / microwave, stove, coffee maker, full set of cutlery and crockery, pots and pans galore. The bathroom is fitted with a shower. The lounge room / reception has a couch and coffee table with additional storage (chest of drawers) and the bedroom was very comfy with reading lamps, shelves and a TV. Even the terrace was fully furnished with two very comfortable sunbeds, a table and four chairs, stairs leading straight to the beach. We honestly couldn't ask for more.

But all this isn't what made this place special - you are only a hop, step and a jump from a peaceful and calm beach and it's the dulcet tones of the ocean that lull you to sleep at night. The only complaint is that this idealic setting made leaving in the morning very difficult!

Our last day in Skiathos was a sad day indeed. We will remember this holiday always. PURE BLISS.
