A wonderful Spring Break with our daughters at the Mermaid Cottage!
It will always be remembered. This very comfy and well decorated cottage
was the perfect place when traveling with kids. Fully equipped, and there is a grocery store nearby to stock up on fresh food. The balcony was perfect to sit outside and watch the sunset, and the walk to the beach is minutes away and in a very hip and upscale neighborhood. We will definitely be going back to make this a yearly tradition! Thanks For being so accomodating Dennis!

After much research, we booked Mermaid Cottage for a week out of our 3 week vacation in the US from the UK. Great choice - beautiful cottage, light and airy, great decor, stunning sea views and sunset from balcony, sun drenched patio, 2 min walk to Victoria Beach, easy access to free Trolley Bus into Laguna Village, great restaurants nearby.

Good restaurant recommendations - our 2 best, Starfish and La Sirena Grill, are a 2 min drive.

We had a wonderful time in Laguna. We were truly lucky to find the Mermaid Cottage since we started our search so late. The house was perfect in so many ways.

From the front deck to the back patio, from the living room to the kitchen, one could enjoy the cool breeze coming off the Pacific anywhere in the house. The house is in a great location- a short walk to the picturesque Victoria Beach, a short drive to Laguna, Dana Point and other surf beaches and close enough to town to be able to take advantage of shopping and dining but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town. You can't beat the master shower either!

The house was well appointed with the basic needs. The kitchen was equipped with all cooking needs- pots and pans, grill, etc. Beach chairs, towels, coolers were all there. Upon arrival, there were no worries other than stocking the house with food.

We did take advantage of a couple of your recommendations for restaurants- the roof top bar for drinks was amazing (at the Hotel downtown) and the Montage had remarkable views. The surf shop took care of all of our needs and made for a care free surfing experience.

Our experience renting homes out here on the East Coast is different in regard to checking in. I was not sure, at first, how this would all work- not actually seeing a rental agent upon check in. Working with you was very easy and check in/check out was very easy- almost too easy!

We do not get to the West Coast so much but we would definitely go back to Laguna and the Mermaid Cottage if we go west again. Thanks for doing what you could to make our experience so enjoyable.
