Set on a small hill in Teshie Nungua, a quiet suburb of Accra, and just 5 minutes from the sea, Sam's Villas are ideal for short or long term rental in Accra. We have put a lot of thought into creating a modern space with open plan kitchen/diner leading into a living room with cable TV and DVD (we also supply a selection of DVDs). Just off the living room is a spacious patio for alfresco dining and each villa has a private garden with hammock for your relaxation. The master bedrooms have sliding doors which lead out to a balcony with great views of the city. An on-site security guard adds to your comfort. There is a supermarket and fruit &vegetable stall nearby, and your local restaurant, 5 minutes away, is a great resort by the sea with live music at weekends and a large pool. You will also find a good selection of restaurants/resorts with seaside locations within 2 miles. A short walk takes you to the main road, where you can catch a taxi into town for eating, dancing & sightseeing

Villa 1 is a semi detached 2 bedroomed villa on 2 levels. With its own entrance, the lower floor has a well furnished living room with cable TV and DVD player and for your comfort, you have choice of fan or air-conditioning. The room leads out to a patio which has garden furniture for alfresco dining. Through an attractive arch is a modern fully equipped kitchen/diner with a table and 4 chairs. Outside the kitchen is a small private garden where you can relax and/or dine. The villa is also served by a 7.5kva generator, which will ensure that you will continue to have a source of power supply during a power cut.

Accra lies on the west coast of Africa, by the Atlantic Ocean. The villas are off the main Accra-Tema road which runs along the coast, so there are a good selection of beaches to enjoy as well as all that a busy city offers. There is a supermarket within a few minutes of the property which will meet your basic needs and there are a number food markets well worth visiting to make full use of the excellent self catering facilities we provide. You will not need a car during your stay as you are only ever a few minutes from a taxi. Accra is a good base for trips to other parts of Ghana. Either day trips to the mountains of Aburi or Akosombo with the biggest man made lake in the world, or 2/3 days in Cape Coast and Elimina with its historic forts which were used as a holding pen during the slave trade. Also at Cape Coast is the famous canopy walk over the forest of Kakum. The beaches get better the further west you travel, so a trip to Cape Coast/Elimina must a include a day by the sea

Renting both villas: Interconnecting doors mean that the two villas can be rented as one 5-bedroomed property for £100 a day.

Welcome Pack: We aim to do all we can to make you feel welcome in our home and you will find a welcome pack on your arrival, which will make you first night and morning in the villas very comfortable. As we say in Ghana as a way of welcome - Akwaaba.

Car Rental: We have secured very competitive rates with an established car rental company. Our guests will have a wide range of cars to choose from - starting with an ecomonic Nissan Primera for $60 a day and going up to a 12-15 seater mini bus for $120 a day. Each car comes with an experienced driver at a cost of $10 a day and includes airport pick-ups and drop-off's. Should you be interested in renting a car during your stay, please let me know and I will send you the full range and prices. All payments will be made directly to the rental company

I enjoyed my stay at Sam's Villas. The place was clean and the staff very friendly. I will stay there again in the future.
Owner's Response: The consistent feedback we have received from our guests are about the cleanliness of the villas and the friendliness of the staff.

As you can tell from the colours of the villa, we try to avoid following convention and always look to be a little different and this includes our staff.

We have been blessed with an excellent team at the villas. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they make sure each guest is treated according to their needs. If you are new to Ghana and need advice and help getting to know the area, they will provide that support, and if you are comfortable and happy to be left on your own, then that is fine too. Just enjoy the welcome bottles of beer we provide and relax. Kweku, the manager, is a really great guy
(handsome too) and actually a TV producer by profession, so he knows all the "in" places and is a lot of fun.

Our incredible housekeeper, Abigail, is obsessed with keeping the house looking as clean and tidy as possible and she also cooks excellent local food. Unlike other rental properties, we don't charge for this service, we just encourage you to show your appreciation at the end of your stay.

The villas are our family home, and nothing gives us more pleasure than knowing that our guests have enjoyed our hospitality.

As we say in Ghana by way of welcome "Akwaaba".

Superb property in nice part of Accra

We were very pleased with this nice and proper appartment. Superb!! The house is really beautifull, clean and the staff does his outmost best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We really recommend this place to everybody. Also it is situated perfectly. When we will go back it will surely be Sam's Villas for us. The best in Accra! Also the owner is great! Price/quelity is excellent!

A Home Away From Home - Sam's Villa

Our stay at Sam's Villas in June 2008, was indeed most pleasurable and memorable. Upon arriving from a very long journey, we were welcomed at the gate by a very warm Security Guard. Once inside our unit, we found a very clean and attractive villa with everything in place, just as stated on this website. The next morning we were greeted by the Villa Manager, Kweku and the Villa's beautiful House Assistant, Abigail. Words can not express the first class treatment we received. I highly recommend to all who plan to stay at the Villa to request that Abi cook their native meals. She is a fantastic cook. I've even learned how to cook Banku, thanks to Abi. "Thanks Abi, I'll never forget you." Staying at Sam's Villa was a great decision. We saved tremendously on the cost of all the amenities of staying at a luxury hotel. The area is safe, very quiet and if need be, a driver can be provided. Thank you again to the Sam's Villa team. I plan to make Sam's Villa my "home away from home" whenever I return to Ghana. Book your stay at Sam's Villa, You won't regret it.
