Casa Azul Del Carribe is a home away from home - paradise

My family and I stayed at Casa Azul Del Carribe in May 2012 for 10-days. This property is stunning and even better than described! It is well maintained and the owners were very accessible via email and prepped us well for the trip with advice and helpful hints. We loved the location. It is so easy to get wherever you want to go on the golf carts we rented to visit numerous places on the island. The roar of the ocean and the breeze at this property is so serene, the perfect blend of ocean, shells and pool - you won't want to leave! But you have to leave, because the island and all it offers beckons. We made day trips to Playa Norte, shopped and dined on Hidalgo Ave, dined at Punta Sur, made visit at the turtle farm, visited the lighthouse and spent the day swimming at Zama Beach Club. We loved the front deck in the morning and the Tiki bar in the afternoon with the sunset. Among the highlights were Dolphin Discovery, holding the baby sea turtles and collecting shells and sea glass along the coastline, hanging out on the beach with full service bartending and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and feeding the local Iguanas fruit. The house was spacious and clean and perfect for our two young children (just about 5 years old) and the Island was safe and the locals were wonderful. We will always cherish our fond memories of this trip and plan to return! The Kiklis Clan, Boston, MA.
