Thank you Che for your kind hospitality.

The picture does not justify the beauty of this place, we were welcomed by Che who is the nicest and most generous host I have ever met. This property is so beautiful and clean, the staff are so nice. Our two Bichons had more fun than us, they were running around the ranch and played all day. We can't wait to go back and stay longer. Beautiful Hacienda!

  • 5 of 5
This is truly one of the most beautiful properties! My husband and I stayed, with our two dogs, at the end of June and had a wonderful relaxing time. Che thought of everything, there was nothing that we did without. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It truly is a magical place.

Heaven on earth ---

  • 5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at this home. There were all kinds of animals to enjoy, including horses, dogs, cats, miniature horse, goats, sheep, peacocks, chickens and wild turkeys. It was right in the middle of vineyards, so we took long walks every day. We took our dog, Allie, and she had a ball enjoying her freedom while off leash. The accommodations were great and stocked with everything we needed. We even had fresh eggs from the chickens. The owners did everything they could to make us welcome and comfortable. Will definitely go there again.

Charming Property Perfect for Wine and Animal Lovers!

  • 5 of 5
My boyfriend and I stayed at this charming guest house earlier this month and could not have loved it more. From ease of booking, to the kindness and flexibility of owner Che with our last-minute change to a late-night arrival, to how comfortable the space was, to every little detail perfectly thought out, I can't wait until another special event arrives and we can return. The guest house has a lovely modern bathroom with a double-shower head, plush towels, and amenities, a gorgeous bedroom, and a fireplace in the living room as well as a kitchenette. Literally 3 steps out the front door is the pool and diving board. Not only is Che a wonderful and friendly host, but he's a lovely human - he spends a great deal of time, money, and energyrescuing animals in need, many of whom (and others) we were lucky to see: horses, peacocks, sheep, 8 dogs, etc etc abound. Just minutes from the center of Paso, and there are numerous wineries on the very road the property is on! Can't recommend highly enough.

Wine and Animal Lovers Heaven.

  • 5 of 5
The alternative of giving this one star to discourage others from booking up times that we might like to visit, keeping it to ourselves so to speak crossed my mind. But the owner, Che is such a genuinely good man that this would bring the wrath of cosmic karma for an eternity. So the truth.

This place is amazing. The grounds are among the rolling hills of the westside Paso Wine country with 300 year old oaks spreading their canopy over a spanish architecture farm home (included a bell in a bell tower over the front door. Around back is the pool and guest house with one bedroom, open room with fireplace and the full selection of Direct TV, kitchenette, and full bath. Walls adorned with photos of Che's current and favorite horses, eclectic artifacts of a lifetime of travel let you enjoy all the comforts of home. The kitchenette is perfect for our needs, with a Kuerig coffee or 3 to start the day, compact refrigerator. We did not use the cooking appliances as we did not go on the getaway to cook... its is not a Wolf/Viking/Subzero kind of gourmet kitchen and there more than enough outstanding eateries in the highly competitive Paso market to try a different one for each meal for a month with no repeats.

We have 2 Retrievers that love the water. We would walk them (we walk, they run) on the open farmland up to the top of the 200 foot hill nearby enjoy the views, then head back as the dogs raced through the woods and open grass pastures. Then play fetch into the pool until they were ready to drop. Then go have breakfast, taste wine all afternoon as the exhausted dogs slept in the car. Back "home" for a late afternoon repeat of walk/swim, then out for dinner as they again slept. Perfect wine tasting getaway for dog lovers.

He has a stable of horses, some are rescues, lamb/sheep, goats, peacocks to watch (note there was NO hint of THAT barnyard smell... it is very well maintained and operated). There are 2 outdoor cats roaming, 3 dogs (two kept indoors most times, one that has adopted the farm helpers as their companion), and a collection of others kept in the house which we did not see.

Che greeted us with a warm sense of humor, and did the walk through intro to the property. Each day we were there, in random passing he made a point to inquire how our stay was, if everything was to our satisfaction (it was and I sensed that had anything been out of line, he would have been prompt with remedy), and how our stay was going.

Tranquil pocket in Paso!

  • 5 of 5
This place was fantastic! From the the friendly and beautiful farm animals to the comfortable setting we truly had an amazing time at this special place. I've never seen my dog hop like a deer as she ran through trails ...but she did here! The guest house is so inviting full of details like an easy to use fireplace, relaxing shower, and comfortable bed! Couldn't of had a better time! We will be recommending this place to our wedding guest in April!
