BRAND NEW LUXURY FIVE BEDROOM HOUSE ON SEAFRONT IN STUNNING BAY

Wow! This was our first visit to Great Exuma and we loved it! Steven's house is exactly as portrayed in the ad. The house is nicely decorated and proved very comfortable for our family of 9. It sits just a few feet from the water, with amazing views of the changing turquoise hues. The water depth is only 3-4 feet, making it an easy walk to the rock/coral just out beyond the back patio. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the ocean and the view from the master bedroom. Quick dips in the pool were welcomed and refreshing. A/c units in all bedrooms worked wonderfully when needed. The remote control a/c and window covering in the master bedroom was an extra added welcomed surprise. The house is in new condition, and the kitchen is wonderfully appointed with everything needed to cook your meals. The wireless internet worked perfectly as did the TV's. Being only 15 minutes from the airport, and 5 minutes to Georgetown, made it a great location. (cab from the airport is only $30) We had a rental car company that delivered and picked up a car for us during the week. Sunsents at Catch A Fire Bar & Grill were breathtaking as well as dancing to local music at Eddie's Edgewater in Georgetown. The locals were very friendly, especially our new "unofficial tourist host" named "Bahama Obama"...what a wonderful fellow! We're already planning our return visit to the island and we'll definitely stay at the Jolly Turtle!

We absolutely loved this beach house! It is on a protected bay that is very calm for swimming and snorkeling at low tide. 180 degree natural ocean view!! There is a coral reef with marine life right outside the living room (please protect the coral so that it stays pristine). This coral is more healthy and vibrant than the coral in Hawaii! Bring beach shoes to protect your feet from the rocks. All bedrooms have A/C which was wonderful! The whole house has tile which is great for asthma/allergies. This house is less than a year old and the furniture is comfortable and stylish (high quality). We had a family reunion here and it was a trip of a lifetime! The owner Steven gave amazing customer service by email. Wendy manages the rental and she visited us to ensure that our trip was amazing. Deatra organized the private chef services which I highly recommend!! Schedule the private chef toward the beginning of your stay so that you can enjoy the delicious leftovers! Steven Cole gave an amazing boat tour with his company Off Island Adventures and he is very affordable for a private boat. He does half day boat tours (we did snorkeling, Chat & Chill, feeding the friendly stingrays, etc.). Peter provided a wonderful full-day private boat tour with Exuma Cays Adventures and we saw the swimming pigs, Thunderball grotto, nurse sharks, iguanas, celebrity islands, etc. Dunnia came to give us massages with Island Wellness. Everything was reasonably priced. I recommend renting a car to get around the island (Airport car rental, etc.). This house is near a small grocery store and a liquor store. Remember to drive on the left side of the road. This location was so nice that I wanted to buy the lot next door to this house! It was a perfect location five minutes from the Exuma airport (GGT) and Georgetown. Everyone on the island was friendly and provided a high level of customer service. If you want hustle and bustle, go to Nassau. If you want paradise, come here to Exuma. We were in heaven for a week! We got an amazing deal for the low season. I prefer the low season to avoid the crowds. Crashing waves are right outside several rooms. The view from the living room and master bedroom are priceless! The pool is also wonderful! We have stayed in vacation rentals in other locations (Hawaii, Italy, Costa Rica, etc.) and this is the best one so we highly recommend this vacation house! Stay as long as you can since you will not want to leave! :)
