The bedroom and living room are both large, new furnished, bedroom facilities include a large double bed, fitted wardrobes and television. This truly beautiful accommodation has really good location, making it very easy to explore the city.
We spent 5 amazing days in Prague staying at this very welcoming, homely and well located apartment.
Everything was just as described in the listing, it was well maintained and the owner, Hana, was extremely helpfull. Make certain that you are very hungry at breakfast time!! Excellent.
I would definitely recommend this appartment to friends and would definitely book there again on a revisit to Prague.

I spent six weeks of my sabbatical leave with Hana in her Podoli guest apartment, and it was a lovely experience. The spacious, quiet rooms are bright even on the cloudiest days, with blackout shades for sleeping in late. Podoli is located just minutes from Prague's city centre via two tram lines, #17 and #3, both of which stop directly outside the building--I loved having excellent access to all points in Prague yet living away from the bustle. For light snacks, there are several bakeries around the block, a wonderful cheese shop (Cheesy) a few doors north up the block, and very good eating out: Restaurace Podolska across the street, Rest up the street, Josefina's on Na Dolinach, and U Kroka one stop north in Vyrsehrad. THEN there are the breakfasts that Hana serves every morning! Hearty, delicious--completely fueled me for the entire day and then some. Hana also did my laundry for a small fee. I am truly looking forward to staying with Hana again--it was my home away from home.
My husband and I spent 6 nights with Hana at her apartment. The view was breathtaking with all windows in the apartment looking out over the river. The apartment complex was very safe, secure, and quiet. The tram station is right outside the apartment and we slept with windows open and didn't hear a thing. Transportation was so easy with the tram right outside our door. We purchased two 3 day passes for our 6 day stay and could get to anywhere we wanted to go quite quickly. We also took off on foot several days and walked around the entire city from the apartment as well! My husband had spent 4 months in Prague in 1997 so he took me to all of the places he visited and stayed, some of them being quite out of the way. But the transportation system is amazing so we were always able to get where we wanted to go.
Hana is extremely nice and was very accommodating! She let us choose what time she should bring breakfast in. There were some mornings we slept right through her laying everything out on our table. We felt like royalty crawling out of bed to a fully prepared breakfast. There was nothing more relaxing in the morning then drinking our coffee and tea eating breakfast looking out the windows. Her breakfast was amazing and always more than we could eat! We found ourselves not needing lunch most days because of the wonderful breakfast. My husband fell in love with the granola she served and hasn't found a suitable replacement here in the States. The bed was very comfortable and we had more than enough room for the two of us. The only thing I wish I would've done was taken Hana up on getting a massage! I highly recommend this property, and if we ever get back to Prague, which I hope we do, we will definitely stay with Hana again!
The view of the Vltava river is great to wake up to but even more amazing is the breakfast each morning. Hana cooks and serves a huge, delicious breakfast everyday without disturbing you at all. Even though she is right next door, the room is very private and she doesn't disturb you. She even graciously offered to do some laundry for us given that western laundromat customs are not common in Prague.
We also loved that it was removed from the busy tourists areas of the square. The tram ride is very quick and Hana even had two tickets waiting for us so we wouldn't have to figure out the ticketing system before getting to the square on the first day!
Avoid an expensive, touristy hotel and stay here!
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Breakfast was always a morning highlight! There were nightly fireworks over the river right outside our window. The apartment was so clean and decorated so cute.
We decided to be adventurous and used Hana's public transit directions to the apartment. Very easy to follow and dropped us off right out front. I would not attempt this if you have lots of luggage....we struggled a bit due to our own over packing.
There is also a great Saturday morning Market right along the river just a short walk from the apartment. This was so much better than the touristy Havelske Trziste Market downtown. The river market is full of booths selling cheese, breads, meats, flowers, and many other items. I did not see any mention of this market in travel books or on-line so it was a great find for us.
The convenience of public transit from the apartment could not be better. Buy a 3 day metro/bus pass at the booth at the airport (English speaking) time stamp it and keep with you to show the transit authority there.
Hana made the arrangements for our taxi transportation back to the airport and kept up updated on what she would do if they were delayed. The taxi was on time and very inexpensive.
We would not hesitate to highly recommend Hana's adorable apartment. You won't be disappointed.
Great WiFi signal strength too!
There was also a hair dryer in the room, which I did not see listed in the amenities and that helps in keeping the packing to a minimum.
We had two nights in this lovely apartment. Our host, Hana, goes out of her way to be helpful and friendly. The apartment is very spacious and welcoming and the tram is right outside. The apartment is beautifully appointed and has a great view over the river. We are from Australia and highly recommend this apartment.
With the tram stop virtually opposite the apartment this Prague accommodation is ideally located. Close enough to the key sights, but not too close.
We are - 8 minutes (by tram 17) from the crowds of tourists in Old Town Square and Charles Bridge and 10 minutes (by tram 3) away from the Prague´s centre and main street Wenceslas Square.
We are incredibly fortunate to be 7 minutes walk away from the 10th century hillside fortress Vysehrad. There you will find peaceful and beautiful moment viewing Prague and its castle from the viewpoint of its defenders of the past. Vysehrad cemetery is the final resting place of many composers (Dvorak, Smetana), artists, sculptors, writers, and those from the world of science and politics.
Other Activities: Apartment offers romantic walks to the city centre by the river Vltava. Aprox. 15-20 min walk.
