Le Pressoir is a beautifully restored barn providing luxury self catering accommodation for upto 10 people. The property is set within an acre of garden and is surrounded by the magnificent Normandy countryside. Outside there is a large shared heated pool which enjoys the sun all day long. Inside there are 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles both with ensuite shower rooms, 1 twin and 1 quad room, also on this floor is a seperate bathroom. Downstairs is an open plan layout with a very comfortable lounge, large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, range cooker etc. There is also a wc on the ground floor level. The property has satellite TV (with all free to air English channels), DVD,video and stereo. Outside there is a bbq, terrace area, seating and plenty of secure parking. All linen (except pool towels) is included in the rental price.

Normandy is a beautiful unspoilt part of France within easy reach of the UK. Here you will find stunning countryside, fantastic sandy beaches and an area steeped in history. The world famous tapestry at Bayeaux, Monet's garden at Giverny and the WW2 D-Day landing beaches are all within easy access, and for the slightly more adventurous a trip to Eurodisney is not out of the question. The region is of course known for its cheeses and many are named after some local towns, including Livarot, Pont L'Eveque and probably the best known, Camembert which is only 2km from Les Champeaux. The upmarket resorts of Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville are all within easy reach as well as golf, horse riding, cycle hire, sailing, windsurfing and go-karting. All in all there is something for everyone.

Summer holiday in Normandy

Fantastic vacation! We easily found the house and it was more than advertised. The house was well stocked with books for the whole family and plenty of toys for the kids! Great kitchen, also well stocked. Large bedrooms, everything was cleaned. Clearly for English speakers, the TV was UK channels, thermostat was english, etc... Nice pool, nice trampoline and gorgeous views!!!!! Would certainly go there agian!! Need a car, but plenty a great sites within a short distance. The local property manager was very helpful, gave us some good local advice and was very friendly. I would highly recommend this location to families, as it was fantastic for us with four children in tow. The D-day beaches were only about 1-1/2 hours away on great roads. Local Carrefour market about 5 miles away for all grocery/food needs.
