LUXURY?

I was very disappointed in the property I rented and the way it was handled. We were given very sketchy directions and no map was provided, we had to ring the agent twice to try and get the correct access which ended up costing the cab fare twice as much as it should have.
The property advertised is not the property you end up with - although the agent assured us that it was just as luxurious - well there was nothing luxurious about the one we had. The furniture was sparse, one of the coffee tables held the living room door open and the other doors had pieces of paper under them to keep them open. In the advert it says there is a safe, telephone, microwave, and one room had an extra large bedroom - there were none of these! The oven had a dirty grill tray full of fat and there were no teatowels provided to dry up. Our apartment was waterfront if you liked looking directly at office blocks. In short this is not a luxury apartment and would NEVER stay there again. If you are not doing business in and around Canary Wharf then I would not stay in the area.
Owner's Response: I strongly object to this review.This is to avoid the balance she owes us.
Firstly, the address of the apartment was sent to them with the invoice. All cabs in London should be able to find the property with gps systems they all have. Giving the address to the cab driver should therefore be sufficient. We even took the time to explain the directions to the driver and we have told them that the cab driver was probably trying to rip them off by running the meter.
We cannot be responsible for the cab drivers' incompetence.
If she would have been so unhappy with the apartment she could have mentioned it so that we could deal with her complaints as much as we can, or offer them a partial refund or exchange apartments. We have over 10 in this building. . However, none of these was brought to our attention.
Not liking the apartment and the area is a different thing than to create hindsight complaints and not giving us a chance to rectify the complaint. We have for example asked them if she needed internet modem or a phone but she declined this offer.
We had over 100 bookings to this building and none of them ever complained. We personally went to see Miss Dubai to assist them with anything they needed, but they did not need our service. That is why we are very surprised and likewise disappointed with the comments that she makes, they are very unreasonable. Some personal notes the above person , she was very unpleasant when we met her in person and aggressive to deal with. we have video footage of her abusing the conceirge.
Again, we could have given her a partial refund, moved her to a different apartment have it cleaned if she had brought any of this to our attention.
All our vapartments have great view and she was given a second floor apartments as she checked in the evening and not the in the afternoon as she said she would, we thought she was a no show as there weere no emails or calls to let us know about her late check in.
We fear that this bad review is to avoid paying the balance that she owes us as this is the only bad review we have ever had.
