It is in close proximity (3 miles)to the hustle & bustle of the town centre and all major tourist attractions, while offering a tranquil and scenic refuge surrounded by farmland for those who just want to relax, escape the crowds, and soak up the natural beauty of the countryside. The large outdoor patio is perfect for entertaining or enjoying a cup of tea in the afternoon sun. The house is situated on an acre of lush, green, private property, with a well-manicured lawn. There is plenty of room on the spacious lawn for the children to safely run around and enjoy a game of football or spy the cows grazing in the adjacent fields. The interior of the house is decorated with charming antiques and comfortable furniture, and has a cozy, warm atmosphere which will make you feel right at home. The 4 corners of the house have floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the scenic beauty outside.
The views of the impressive Kerry mountains and Kilbrean Lake from the upstairs bedrooms are breathtaking and it is a spectacular way to start the day; the pictures do not do it justice. The annex next to the house could be used as a separate 'flat' or 'apartment,' equipped with a bedroom (a queen and single bed), as well as its' own bathroom and shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer for your use in the laundary room on the other end of the annex. The house is recommended for use by 2 families (maximum) or as an extended family holiday. There is an extra room in the main house which could accomodate and extra guest (cots, pack-n-play, and high chair available).
