Wonderful Retreat
We had a great time during our stay in this cabin. It is very cozy and even with it being in the 20s outside, it was warm indoors with the heat and gas fireplace. There is an alarm system and keyless entry for security. There are other cabins next door, but you do not even notice as it is very quiet and secluded feeling. Even though it feels secluded, you are maybe one minute from the downtown area of Helen. The drive up to the cabin is very mild, as well which is something we enjoyed. It's up an incline but is paved most of the way and the part that is not is relatively flat and short. We hiked a lot during our stay and it is a central location to all the wonderful hikes within a wide distance.The cabin is kept extremely clean and comes with many amenities such as cookware, coffee and tea, blankets, towels, etc. Everything is true to the description provided, and this still doesn't do it justice. Owners are also very accommodating and friendly. They even welcomed our dog to join us on our stay, which is hard to find. Great experience!
