Amazing Bohio de Playa bungalow is a very large 1200 sq foot open floor, natural woods, thatched roof, 3 level, space, it sleeps up to seven, king and queen size bed at the upper level mezzanine, full and twin at first level . The bathroom and kitchen area with large fridge are at the floor level by the pool.

i am a professional chef from england and south africa , cape town , living in california , los angeles, and on big boats cooking for celebrities, so trust me ...I have been around a bit. I loved casa maravilla because everything is there in a super quiet relaxed environment. Me and my family had lots of fun, the cook prepared us fresh grilled fish and lobsters and dominican food and we had a few nice parties in noisy cabarete , then back to peace and quiet, surfing, kitesurfing swimming on the beach. The property is gorgeous the beach is part of it so zero meter distance from the beach... It is high standing eco style, nice rooms, beautiful furniture great staff perfect for a large group 14 adults and 10 children, to have the best vacation ever! i am a professional chef from england and south africa , cape town , living in california , los angeles, and on big boats cooking for celebrities, so trust me ...I have been around a bit. I loved casa maravilla because everything is there in a super quiet relaxed environment. Me and my family had lots of fun, the cook prepared us fresh grilled fish and lobsters and dominican food and we had a few nice parties in noisy cabarete , then back to peace and quiet, surfing, kitesurfing swimming on the beach. The property is gorgeous the beach is part of it so zero meter distance from the beach... It is high standing eco style, nice rooms, beautiful furniture great staff perfect for a large group 14 adults and 10 children, to have the best vacation ever! Ocupamos las habitaciónes que estás abiertas al jardín y al mar. El hotel se encuentra ubicado en un lugar muy especial, bastante apartado, perfecto para desconectar y no hacer nada más que leer y descansar. Si quieren fiesta hay muchos bares y clubs en la playa de cabarete muy cerca . La habitación principal cuenta con su propia sala de estar y en una planta superior con dos confortables camas. No dejas de escuchar el sonido de las olas. El desayuno es muy correcto. ”

We travelled down to Cabarete in November of 2012 as a group of 9 ameerican, korean , chinese from NY,and the west coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Mark was very helpful in our dialogue from early in our booking process from arranging transportation to and from the villa and Santiago airport, arranging meals on the property, and giving us suggestions on where to go out to experience the nightlife. The property is right on the beach - there is a private gate out of the back 10 steps from a stunning beach: amazingly warm water given the time of year, soft sand, and barely anybody else within walking distance other than Natura Cabana next door which is a small resort. If the ocean is too warm - the pool was a bit cooler and refreshing during the day. The service while we visited was very efficient - rooms and bathrooms were cleaned, the outdoor areas were cleaned and gardened, and we were prepared breakfast daily and a BBQ one of the nights. There are dogs on the property but we were aware of this prior to arriving and they were very friendly. Other than a few bugs here and there , all in all, a very pleasant experience from booking to departing.
