Group of Friends in our Early 30s Thoroughly Enjoyed a Kid-Less Ski Weekend at Bogey Run House

The house was exactly as the photos indicated it would be and very comfortably slept 14, as indicated. The open floor plan lent itself nicely to a large group, but the house was broken-up enough for those that wanted some privacy to get away.
The house had everything needed to stay comfortably, including clean towels, clean linens and plenty of cookware. Dishwasher and laundry were available as well. Upon arrival, it was very clean and all the information about the house and surrounding areas left for us was very helpful.
The landscape is beautiful, right on the golf course. But, since we were there in the winter months, the golf course was less important to us than the slopes. Schuss Mtn was very close and easy to get to. A shuttle comes to the end of the road (two houses away) to pick you up and will also drop you off. There are some smaller hills closer to the house, but we never went to them since it was so easy to get to Schuss, with just a short bus ride. Our group did the down hill skiing, cross country skiing and snow tubing. All were wonderful!
The owners, Trent and Kerri, are very nice and accomodating. Communication with them is very easy and they even called to check in the first night we arrived. There was one small issue when one couple got locked in the bedroom, after about ten minutes we called to see if there was a "trick" to the door and they were ready to assist immediately. Fortunately, we were able to quickly solve the issue with no harm done.
I would definitely reccomend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful ski week at Shanty Creek (and Im sure it would be great for golfing, too). We will likely return!
