Wears Valley Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Located in one of the most scenic places on earth, The Preserve Resort, in Wears Valley, Mystic Sunrise is just what you were looking for in a cabin retreat to get away from it all! Step out onto the deck, sit back in your rocking chair, relax in the outdoor hot tub or simply look out the window to enjoy breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. One minute on the deck during sunrise and you will realize why you needed to come here.

Mystic Sunrise at the Preserve Resort is a luxury log cabin for a vacation or getaway to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Our cabin is located just 6 miles from the Smoky Mountain National Park entrance. Mystic Sunrise at the Preserve Resort is closer to Cades Cove than any Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg resort in Tennessee.

Relax in your cabin and enjoy your own media room with 60 inch LED TV, blue ray player, 160 channels & free wireless internet. Or on the main level watch your 55 inch TV. Play pool, air hockey or Foosball. Relax on one of three cabin levels or out on your own private deck.

While you are away from it all, you can also take time to be pampered in the luxurious resort amenities. Take in the breathtaking mountain views in the seasonally available resort pool and hot tub. Take time to work out in the well-equipped Preserve workout room or relax in the wet or dry sauna. The outdoor pavilion is a great place for a group to gather and the on-site wedding chapel is perfect for that special occasion! In your own private cabin, for family fun, enjoy the log billiard table, air hockey or Foosball. Read a book, put together a puzzle or play a board game all available for your use in the cabin. Relax by the fireplace or watch the 55 inch LED TV with DVD player on the main level. Or retreat to the media room and enjoy the 60 inch LED TV, 160 channels, and blue ray player. Bring your computer and stay connected on the free wireless internet. There is a spacious open floor plan that enables you to fully take in the beautiful mountain views. The living room leather couch converts into a queen-sized sleeper. The dining room is spacious and can comfortably seat six. There is an adjacent bar that seats 3, overlooking the gourmet kitchen outfitted with stainless style appliances, a spice rack, and all the pots, pans, tableware, etc., that you need to prepare for a dinner to enjoy in your own cabin. The main floor also has a bedroom with a king-sized bed, TV, and a full-sized bathroom. On the lower level is a private master suite. The bedroom has a king-sized bed with attached full bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub for relaxing. The bath towels and bed linens used throughout the cabin are luxurious! Outside the bedroom is a sitting area with TV which opens onto the beautiful deck and hot tub, offering more spectacular views of the Tennessee Mountains. Enjoy a meal on the deck at your table, listen to the birds or relax in your rocking chair with a cup of coffee. The tri-cities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg have some of the best restaurants, theaters, and entertainment in the state. Visit Dollywood, the Aquarium, as well as Cades Cove. Mystic Sunrise at the Preserve Resort is closer to Cades Cove than any Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg resort in Tennessee. Cades Cove provides an opportunity to see wildlife while touring some of the original cabins built by pioneers. Hiking, biking, white water rafting, fishing and horseback riding in the Smoky Mountains are all close by. Our cabin is just 6 miles from the entrance to the Smoky Mount National Park! The Great Smoky Mountain National Park officials, the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce and the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism have information on activities for your family. For the shopper that’s looking for great bargains Sevierville and Pigeon Forge have several outlet malls just a short drive of 20 minutes away. As well, Gatlinburg is a great place to see arts and crafts from artists. Best of all, after a day full of activity, kick back and relax in your own hot tub while enjoying the beauty of the Tennessee Mountains.

Great place.

  • 5 of 5

There were 5 in our group...all adults. We had absolutely no complaints. Great view, clean and cozy. Loved the windows in the living room/dining area. We saw wild turkeys, beautiful birds and a momma bear with her half grown cubs. We should have stayed longer.

mystic sunrise experience

  • 4 of 5

Everything was very good. We gave 4 stars only because the couch didn't have any sheets( 5 adults were staying in the cabin) and there was a blood mark on the mattress pad .

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. I apologize for your confusion on the sheets for the pullout in the living room. We keep all the bedding for the pullout in the drawers of the chest in the bedroom on that same floor. That way they are not in everyone’s way in the living room. A quick call to the maintenance (number posted in the unit and included on check-in instructions) could have solved that for you. I will update my check in instructions so that others are not confused going forward. Thanks again for the helpful hint. I am glad that overall you enjoyed your trip.

One of our very BEST vacations!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the views were nothing short of majestic. Everything we needed for a week long spring break was available in the cabin. I would have been perfectly fine never leaving the cabin the entire time but with 2 adventurous kids and husband we did venture out each day. The mountain roller coasters (2 of them) right down the road were a huge hit! Hiking, zip lining, ATV rides and Wonder Works (or as my son calls it the upside down house) were just some of the highlights. Each night we so enjoyed relaxing in the cabin playing pool, air hockey or just putting together a puzzle. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook all meals. The cabin was large enough that everyone had their own space to watch TV and the wifi worked very well that everyone could be on at the same time with no issues. We even had a chance to see a momma bear and her cub right outside the window one night!

PERFECT FALL BREAK

  • 5 of 5

My Family and I (three younger children) went to this cabin Oct 2014. We had a WONDERFUL time. The cabin is just as pictured but BETTER, high comfort surrounds you in this beautiful and clean place. The view is stunning. The proximity to the attractions is PERFECT, no traffic and just a few miles from where you want to be. The kids enjoyed the close entrance to the park and hiking flat trails and skipping rocks in the water running through the bottom of the mountain. The directions were spot on. We enjoyed the kitchen and ate in - anything that could have been needed was there. The owners are EXCEPTIONAL even when I caused a mishap... we will certainly return on our next vacation to the Smokeys!

AMAZING views/Fantastic Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We arrived for our stay a few days before Christmas to spend our holiday in the Mystic Sunrise . We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice, as this was a magical place to spend the holiday surrounded by such magnificent views! When I say this cabin is literally in THE perfect spot to view the mountains, I mean THE perfect location for viewing the Smoky Mountains. One of the major reasons I originally chose this cabin over others was the giant living room window that spans 2 stories offering constant glances of the view. So many cabins were beautiful to choose from, but the layout didn't include such a giant picture window b/c they were 3 full stories, lowering the living room ceiling heights. This cabin is 2 full stories -with a 3rd story loft above the living area offering a pool table and air hockey table. The cabin itself was well appointed- with everything you could ask for. Great beds, linens, nice clean appliances, plenty of supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc). We enjoyed having the hot tub on the balcony, and took advantage of it on one of the warmer days. The abundant cable channels and Wi-Fi were a plus as well, as we were pretty much just hanging around the cabin since it was a holiday. I would definitely recommend this cabin as a place to stay when visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The winding drive up to the development of cabins was steep, but I've seen much worse. I mean, you have to travel up steep roads to get to the great views! Well worth it!

Great cabin with a great view

  • 5 of 5

Me and my family really enjoyed this cabin. We have been traveling to the mountains every year now for several years. I have stayed in several cabins and this one is by far the nicest and has the best view of any cabins I have stayed in. Mrs Karen was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful the entire time. Thanks for letting us enjoy your wonderful cabin. We will be back.
