Villa Raffaelli rises on a medieval fortress: it used to be the country house of the noble Lucca’s family Raffaelli, judges, literature men and bishops; Pietro Raffaelli was the teacher of Modena’s Duke and Raffaello Raffaelli was a historian. In the house we can admire the walls pictured and decorated with stucco, the library and many ancient pieces of furniture: for the guests there are six romantic bedrooms, all with the name and the perfume of a flower. The garden with its Italian flower beds is a hanging terrace on Michelangelo’s Alpi Apuane and on the Garfagnana.The new Jacuzzi heated and covered will be your relax also under the stars in the glass cupola. The property is composed by a main villa and a Lemonhouse. Near the ancient well you find the swimming pool (10x5x0,90), with deck chairs and gazebo. In the Limonaia a relaxing area ideal for candlelight dinners. When you arrive a welcome surprice with typical Garfagnana’s products, cakes and drinks of house.
The villa can be rented as a whole or divided in two appartaments: Leonardo and Michelangelo. Leonardo: sleeps 7+ 1 added bed (baby bed avaible) it's the most required with music room, and its affrescos, the play room, the tea room, the dinnig room with fireplace for grilled, kitchen, stockroom, library, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single, 1 bathroom with hydromassage shower, 1 bathroom with tub, private secret garden behind the house. Michelangelo: sleeps 3 +1 (baby bed avaible) affresco's livingroom, kitchen with barbecue, stockroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with french bed, extra bed in the lobby (walk through), 1 bathroom with tub, 1 bathroom with shower. The guardian lives on the second floor - with an independent entrance so your privacy is assured. There is a small chapel on the property, ideal for your ceremonies.
