Pleasant experience at Erica House Heywoods Estate

We were pleased that the online pictures and description of the property were accurate. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The property was lovely, with well maintained gardens and tropical vegetation. We throughly enjoyed the mango and lime trees in the backyard. The house is located in a very quiet residential area close to local transportation, shopping, banks, etc. The walk to the beach is approx. 10 minutes (online says 5 mins.). We swam mainly at Port St. Charles which was about a 15 - 20 minute walk. All beaches in Barbados are public beaches, so often we would hop on the local bus and go experience other beaches e.g. Mullins, Gibbs. The property management were always available and willing to do whatever was necessary to make our stay comfortable and the maid service was excellent as well. Even the neighbours were great, very welcoming and helpful. There are a few good restaurants in Speightstown but there are many more in Holetown which is about 25 minutes away by local bus. We would definitely book at Erica House again and would also recommend it to our friends and relatives.
