Photos and Description of the Marrakech vacation house rental Perfect location, only a 3 minute walk from the famous Place Djemaa al Fna.

Recently renovated riad, in the centre of Marrakech, only 3 minutes on foot from the famous Place Djemaa al Fna. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms (2 doubles, and 2 twins, one with the option of a third bed), all with air conditioning and heating. On the ground floor, as well as a spacious open air courtyard, there is a comfortable living room with TV and CD player, and a log fire for the winter evenings. There is also a spacious and secluded roof terrace. Our staff can arrange airport transfers, guided tours of the city, or excursions further afield. Breakfast is included in the price and lunch or dinner can be provided on request.

Easy access to the famous Place Djemaa al Fna, the souks, cafes and restaurants. Close to all the major tourist attractions, including the Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Medersa and the Museum of Marrakech. Enjoy a trip round the city walls in a horse drawn caleche, visit a traditional hammam, or simply wander round the narrow maze of streets, shopping in the souks. By day the Place Djemaa al Fna is occupied by snake charmers, and at night it comes alive, with food stalls, entertainers, acrobats and much more.

Good riad, some of the rooms a little narrow, but good bathrooms and well cooked food for dinner. Staff helpful and everything they organised went to plan.
The worst thing I could say, some fruit for breakfast would be nice
Excellent value for money, very clean.
They are digging the road up outside so could be tricky with people not so steady on their feet, as it is rough ground.
An excellent city guide was organised for us by Adil.
Would I stay here again - certainly.

Best thing about this riad is its proximity to the main square in the medina. If necessary, its easy to escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside to the tranquility behind the door of the riad. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful to stay in a traditional place with its interesting and charming decor rather than in a run-of-the mill hotel. Not 5 star standard but good clean accommodation and very good value for money. Dinner prepared by cook was great but breakfast did get a bit boring - some fruits or juice would have been nice. Overall, highly recommended.
With regard to attractions in Marrakech, most are within easy walking distance. The majorelle gardens are slightly further afield but definitely worth a trip and also do take a ride on a caleche (horse drawn carriage). We took a day trip to the atlas mountains (arranged for us by the house manager) which was a very nice break from wandering about and haggling in the souks. Also went to the Chez Ali fantasia dinner and horse show. Very impressive location but never seen such grumpy waiters or unenthusiastic entertainers. The show was passable but the service was abysmal. Oh well, you cant win them all!
