About Patricia Barrett
I am a native Texan who grew up in Ft. Worth and moved to Houston with parents when my preacher father took a job here. I met my husband here, had my children in Houston hospitals and plan to spend the rest of my life here.
I'm a self-employed Certified Financial Planner who doesn't manage money, but works by the hour creating intricate financial plans.
My three children are grown but haven't given us any grandchildren. We have two wonderful mutts who are our babies now. Buddy and Punkin.
We have worked hard to make our house a fun and comfortable place to visit.
Patricia Barrett purchased this house in 2011
Why Patricia Barrett chose San Luis Pass
After considerable shopping for a beach house, we drove up in front of this house and its fancy huge circular driveway and flags flying. It was love at first sight. The views from the front deck and the rear, along with the fascinating convergence of San Luis Pass and the Gulf of Mexico convinced us that this was our choice.
What makes this house unique
With five lots on which the house resides, and a large circular driveway, there is no shortage of parking for cars or a boat and trailer. The neighborhood has a fishing pier and a boat launch; although surf fishing is very popular as well. Our customized golf cart lets you explore the beach at San Luis Pass and its inland tide pool that changes with the tide and the seasons. Or you can drive down the long stretch of beach toward Surfside with the dunes on one side and the ocean on the other.
