As an extended family with a wide Greek Island experience, our first visit to mainland Greece was made extremely pleasant by our welcoming hosts. The location, right on the beach, is perfect. The facilities, both within the Kalogria Hotel and further afield in the nearby village of Stoupa, provide all you could possibly want for a relaxing and varied break. Kalogria Beach itself is sandy and enclosed within a sheltered bay, with a gentle slope into the sea, which makes it ideal for children of all ages to be able to play safely under their parent's watchful eyes. A variety of Taverna's and Bars, an Ice Cream Parlour, a Cake shop and several other Retail opportunities can be found in nearby Stoupa, none of which disappoint !
Excellent customer service for both room maintenance and in the restaurant/ bar facility from Rena, Kostas, their family and staff, which impressed us all. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and colleagues, in fact, already have ! Would love to return for more genuine Greek hospitality in the future (young daughter entrusted Kostas with beach implements !). Senior family member already plotting her own independent return before we left for home !
