Your family will enjoy all that the White Mountains has to offer this winter. Right across from Black Mountain Ski Area, and just minutes from several other Ski Areas. North Conway is just 15 min away for great shopping and dinning. Our cozy large log home is perfect for families. There is a sledding hill right on the property.

Over 5 acres of land for you to enjoy. Mountain and farm views. Quiet and private.

4 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Log Home overlooking Black Mountain. The family friendly Shovel Handle Pub is right around the corner, for great food and entertainment.

Sleeps 10 (6 adults and 4 children) 3 Queens, 3 Single (bunks), and a trundle. Three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. Downstairs bedroom is a queen with cable TV, great for grandma and grandpa!

Internet, digital cable, phone, cell phone service.

Linens not provided. Beds will have comforters and pillows. Starter paper products provided. Kitchen has dishwasher, double ovens, refrigerator, 5 burner stove, new coffee maker, microwave, and four slice toaster. Kitchen is also stocked with cookware, dishes, wine glasses, silverware, etc. One bathroom has a whirlpool tub and second bathroom has a oversize stall shower.

About Katie

Ian and Katie both grew up spending holidays and weekends in the White Mountains with their families. They have wonderful childhood memories of the White Mountains. When Ian and Katie met in 2003 they realized they both shared the love for the mountains and would spend every Columbus Day weekend at the Lazy Dog Inn in Chocorua. They would also meet Katie's father at the Sandwich Fair, which Katie has been going to since she was born. 'It's where my mom would buy our mittens for that winter' Both had the dream of someday owning a house in the Mountains.

Why Katie chose Jackson

After much research and several day trips driving to the White Mountains, they fell in love with Jackson. Tucked away from the hussel and bussel of North Conway, but yet close enough to not feel so isolated - it was perfect! They looked at a few houses in Jackson, but this house was the last one and it was just a 'back up' in case the others didn't suit their needs. The minute Ian and Katie entered the house they fell in love. Although it needed a little TLC they were certain it was the one.

What makes this house unique

The house is cozy yet large enough to suit two families comfortably. Although Ian and Katie don't have any children it was important that the house suit families to help offset the cost of owning a second home. The Reardon's love sharing their home with other families. 'When I decorate the house, I have them in mind. I really want to give our guests a cozy mountain like feel'

  • School Vacation weeks are 2,100 a week.
  • Check out cleaning included in the price when renting for three nights or more. If you are interested in just renting for two nights a $75 cleaning charge will apply. During the summer we have a one week minimum stay.
  • Our home is not available for seasonal or monthly rentals.
    Rates are non negotiable.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dundee Cabin - large enough for all the family and friends to be comfortable, nice furnishings and well-stocked kitchen. Evenings by the fire after skiing or playing outdoors in the snow. Mornings in the kitchen watching the sunrise reflected on the mountains. Perfect!

Very nice large roomy log cabin only minutes from town and attractions. We drove from Tennessee to stay with my sisters and brothers family, enjoyed the front porch. would recommend this home to anyone.

We had a great vacation in Jackson and the house was perfect for our needs. The owner, Katie, is a pleasure to work with, very professional and responsive to questions. The cabin is HUGE! Plenty of room for large families or several couples looking to get away. We brought our two yellow labs who enjoyed playing in the yard and then relaxing on the front porch. The location is wonderful with views of Black Mountain, close proximity to Jackson village, and hiking trails. Although the kitchen could use some updating, it is large and functional, with everything you need. We look forward to returning!

Just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time at your cabin in Jackson. Your home is beautiful! We enjoyed drinking our coffee out on the porch in the mornings. Our dog loved to run around the property. Thanks again we will be back soon!
