About Antonio Nobile
My mother is from Naples, my father Sicilian. I am married with a young son and fluent in both English and in Italian. This was our family home before we started our organic farm nearby, then it became our holiday rental villa. We still live & work in the area. I want others to come to this lovely part of Italy and enjoy this stunning part of Tuscany, the way that me and my family have done for years.
Antonio Nobile purchased this villa in 2006
Why Antonio Nobile chose Bagni di Lucca
Location, location, location!!! This was bought because of it's rural tranquil location, stunning views & yet within a 5 minute walk you will find many bars, shops, restaurants, banks, supermarkets & public transport links. It is close to the airports of Florence and Pisa, the beaches of Versilian coast, skiing in winter and the lovely historical spa centre of Bagni di Lucca complete with thermal spas ideal for relaxation & pampering. The good transport links mean that you can get around easily without a car for Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc. I fell in love with the building on sight a 200 year old villa, which I have spent time lovingly restoring from 3 apartments to the large villa you will see today. I have also added a pool, parking and an enclosed garden which is safe for children of all ages.
What makes this villa unique
The views are what sold me as well as the location. Each balcony, each part of the garden gives you a different stunning Tuscan view. I loved the fact that it is always in full sun even in winter and being Italian this was important to me!. I also loved that the neighbours and people around the villa are so friendly and helpful giving you a wave and a Ciao Buongiorno! when ever they see you. Each season brings with it its own magic. Spring is lovely, fruit trees & flowers start to bloom and it is warm without being too hot, walking and the food festivals start.
Summer is sunny and can be hot, these months are filled with local festivals and great summer activities such as days at the beach or relaxing around the pool.
Autumn is filled with more festivals and this is the time of year we collect mushrooms and cook our chestnuts over the log fire. Winter you usually get snow and of course you can enjoy the nearby ski resorts too. The log fire makes the villa feel extra cosy and many a glass of Chianti has been enjoyed around the blazing fie in an evening. It is a great winter base to see the area too with Christmas markets and other festive activities for families to enjoy.
