The spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment is located within the well established and beautiful Andalucian style village of San Juan Capristrano, with its walkways and picturesque gardens abundant with semi-tropical flowers and citrus trees. Sitting on the foothills of the Almijara mountains above the town of Nerja it is less than a mile from its centre and beaches. There are excellent views of both sea and mountains from the large balcony. There is also a small second balcony off the master bedroom. It has one double and one twin bedroom and one recently refitted bathroom. The kitchen area is complete with washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker and microwave. We also have Sky TV in the through lounge/diner. Just a short stroll up hill you will find an excellent pool complex, with a selection of poolside bars and restaurants, and the local supermarket which has daily supplies of fresh bread. As we are on the second floor access for the less mobile might be difficult.

Nerja remains largely a scenic, unspoilt location, surrounded by magnificent scenery, with excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Much of Nerja's charm comes from the narrow winding streets and white washed buildings. You can relax the full year round with Nerja's warm climate and enjoy a town which still retains the local character, charm and village atmosphere of the Mediterranean Coast. There are 13 Kms of local beaches including the internationally famous Burriana Beach ,where you will find the diving centre and an excellent choice of restaurants, and the Playa El Salon, a small beach just off the Balcon, accessed by a small alleyway next to the 17th Century El Salvador Church. Close by are the Caves of Nerja and the famous Roman Aquaduct. Within a short drive(10mins) or local bus ride is the quaint Andulucian village of Frigiliana and 40 mins, via mountainside roads, is Competa. A bit further afield (90minutes) via main roads is Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace.

  • A non refundable deposit of £50 or 20%, whichever the greater, is required within 4 working days of booking.The balance will be required 8 weeks prior to holiday.Directions etc will be sent to you upon receipt of balance.

    Beach Towels are not provided.
  • Whilst rental rates are listed on Saturday to Saturday basis we will endeavour to be flexible with regards to changeover days. Where bookings crossover weekly rate periods, the higher weekly charge will apply.

    Access to the apartment is normally after 2pm. and departure normally by 10am. If you have a special request do not hesitate in contacting the owners.

Notes: The property is accessed by zig-zag steps to the second floor. The front door leads into the lobby of the Dining/Lounge area at the far end of which is hallway leading to each of the bedrooms and bathroom. As we are non smokers we kindly ask that you do not smoke in the apartment but are welcome to do so on the balconies. Whilst we welcome young children we would advise you that access is via 25 steps and supervision would be required on the balcony(0.9metre wall).The main balcony has table and chairs for 6 people and has 2 sun loungers. There is a retractable awning, to shade you from the Mediterranean sun. The property is not air conditioned but there are free-standing fans. There is a bus service from the village into Nerja at 15 minutes past the hour(high and low season) and 15 minutes to the hour(high season) from just opposite the apartment.Cost 1 Euro each way. It is a 30 minute walk downhill into Nerja. A taxi costs 7 euros.

Additional Information/Directions: Nerja is approximately 45 minutes car journey from Malaga Airport.If not hiring a car, a taxi can be arranged at a cost of approx 72 Euros(payable to the taxi driver) each way.There is a regular bus service from the Airport to Malaga from where there are regular buses to Nerja. If hiring a car, there are numerous hire centres close to the airport but it is advisable to arrange prior to holiday. We can always give you details of the one we use as we have always found them to be fair and reliable.

We stayed in this apartment for a week in August and had a lovely time. The apartment is well equipped and spacious with plenty of room for four people. It is well located within the village / complex of San Juan Capistrano which has an excellent pool area and some good restaurants. The owners were very informative and helpful and we would definately recommend to friends.

This property was everything it was described as being.

Very spacious, well maintained, good location, good facilities. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be going there again soon.

Fabulous apartment - gorgeous setting

Five stars for everything from our family!
The apartment was spotlessly clean, it was spacious and had everything we needed, with lovely views of both sea and mountains
After staying in some pretty featureless developments during previous trips to Spain, it was a delight to find one set in such a well maintained and pretty landscape.
Loved the pool - which was large and clean - but the children loved meeting new friends there even more!
Can recommend the local bar 'Stoker Browns' and thought Nerja itself was a delight with some fantastic and reasonable priced restaurants - the bus leaves from just outside the apartment which was a bonus!
Will book again !
