Perfect location

We had a wonderful holiday. The location couldn't be more perfect. Especially good for families. Beautiful beach with spectacular scenery, and close to shops so you can easily cook meals in the apartment and relax on the patio enjoying the view and drinking sangria.
There are very few restaurants apart from many pizza places, but I guess this is due to the very few foreign tourists in the area and I think the locals prefer to cook in their apartments. We drove up to Valaencia one day and found many good places to eat and also drove down Oliva and Granada one day, but could quite easily have spent the whole week just relaxing on the Cullera beach and kicking back on the patio of the apartment.
I recommend you take a Spanish dictionary as the locals speak very little english and even less when you are trying to pay a bill.
Also, we stayed in late April and were pleasently suprised to find the weather to be warm and perfect, although the water was a bit too cold to stay in any longer than a few minutes.
The real attraction is the location, however I should comment on the apartment. Extremely good value in my opinion. It's on the top floor and has a great view. The kitchen and bathrooms are excellent. The bedrooms small but adequate, and we found the beds a little uncomfortable, however perhaps the owners may replace them at some stage. The lounge room is huge! Great for when it's a bit hot or cool on the patio. Also there's next to no nightlife, apart from romantic moonlit strolls along the beach, so we spent most evening settling down to a DVD. The DVD player also plays Divx, so we took a load of moives with us thanks to the helpful tip from the owners about the lack of English television.
Overall I rate the the location and the apartment very highly and happily recommend it to all.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the review, you will be please to know we have already changed the beds you mention.
