This magnificent Villa with private pool is surrounded by extensive mature garden in the heart of rural Provence.

The apartments with separate entrance are set on the lower level of the villa with terrace, patio, alarmed pool, barbecue, pizza oven, outdoor dining area and garden. Virtually step outside to bask in the sun, swim, sit in the shade and dine under the romantic sunset. Large private tennis court and boules pitch are enclosed within the grounds. It comprises of 2 adjacent self catering apartments with the owners family living above & whom shall remain discreet. Apartment 1 sleeping 4. Master twin/double bedroom. Bedroom 2 bunk bed ideal for children. Well equipped open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, mini oven, hob, iron Comfortable lounge, dining area, shower room and WC, TV, air conditioned. Apartment 2 sleeping 2/4. Double bedroom. Lounge + sofa bed, equipped kitchen, dining area, bathroom, TV, air con. Ideal for Grandparents / friend

This property also has two self contained chalets offering compact but comfortable accomodation for upto 4 people. The chalets comprise of a wc with shower, equipped kitchen with fridge, mini oven, 2 ring cooker,and iron, with dining area for four people. The living area has a double sofa bed, and mezzanine with double matress ( this area has a low ceiling ) Air conditioned. Outside picnic area and barbeque. The pool and tennis court is also available for chalet guests.

Please note the swimming pool is closed after 9.30pm.

The Golf club Domaine De Terre Blanche: This Golf Club is considered to be one of the most prestigious in the world and is only 10 minute drive away at the four seasons resort. Why not drop in for some wine tasting on route at one of the many Château vineyards. There are several other golf courses in the area and for those that do not golf pop in for a SPA or Aquaroma.

SKI on the piste at Isola, Valberg, Auron: There are numerous Ski stations in the Alpes- Maritimes, Auron only 90 km from Nice with a daily bus service.

Altitude 1600 to 2450 metres. Snow boarding, snow-shoeing and para-skiing. You can also hire snow scooters, book dog sleigh rides or visit the ice skating rink.

Isola 2000 is open from mid December to early May and the Altitude 1800 to 2610.

fantastic family holiday

Adrienne made us feel immediately welcome at the apartment and checked to see that we had everything we needed. She was always available to answer any questions but did not intrude in any way. The apartment was in a beautiful and quiet setting so we were able to really relax. Our 6 year old daughter fell in love with the pool and was in and out of it fom 8am to 8pm! There are lots of interesting villages to visit, each with their own quirky style. The nearby lake is a must-see, with pedallos and warm water for bathing. Montauroux is perfectly placed for visiting a range of places, from the Gorges at Verdon to Monaco, (the latter being a place that our 18 year old was keen to visit!). A super base for a family holiday, we will certainly go back.

We are a family of 4, two adults and two girls aged 13 and 11 years. We have just spent a wonderful 2 weeks at this beautiful villa. The facilities were excellent and of a very high standard. The location was ideal for us to explore and enjoy some superb scenery and sample the local hospitality, food and wine. The trips suggested by the villa's owners were bril. The suggestions and details on the directions were spot on. We visited many villages, markets, valleys and gorges that were suggested. We would highly recomment this region and this accommodation. In particular the following are not to be missed, Mons, The sunday market in Fayence, The boat from St. Raphael to St Tropez, St Paul de Vence. Two great trips with the kids were to the Caves St Cezaire and a day boating on Lac de St Cassien. It was here we had one of our best meals and settings. It is the first restaurant on the right after passing over the main bridge on the direction of the A8. Take a day out to Castellans but leave time to visit Lac de Sainte Cruix. Just one word of caution, get details to this villa from the main road as the minor roads and villas are not well sign posted. Adrienne made us feel very welcome and our children made great friends with her children and pets. Adrienne was also flexible about our booking and we were able to stay for our 2 weeks from Tue 1st to Tue 15th of July as our flights did not operate from a saturday. There was a great welcome with porvisions as we arrived late in the evening with the shops shut and hungry travellers on board. There are several large supermarkets only a few mins away to purchase all necessary provisions not to mention the local boulangerie for breakfast. We have been to France for some 12 years now and we all agree this was one of the best so far. The location and villa are excellent and we are planning a return visit.
