CUTE LITTLE HOUSE THAT WAS CLOSE TO MANY AREAS.

  • 5 of 5
I traveled to County Limerick with my two daughters the 2nd week of March. Imelda is a wonderful hostess who was very kind, but also didn't want to be a bother. I enjoyed her very much.
We had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay; two bedrooms with two full baths, kitchen, washer and dryer and wifi.
The house was perfectly located for day trips across the southern part of Ireland. We traveled to Blarney, Waterford, the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Fork as well as other cities and small villages. If I were to return, I would definitely stay here again.

“ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME!! ESPECIALLY IMELDA!”

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at the detached house beside the main house and it was beautiful. The home has everything you need with great views of the mountains and cow pastures. We loved visiting the cows each morning before we left. We loved having the 2 bathrooms with our 2 teenagers. Imelda was wonderful.....you feel like you've known her for years. She makes you feel welcome and her scones are delicious. We definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning. Thanks Imelda!

PERFECT!

  • 5 of 5
Our stay at the Flemingstown Lodge was fabulous. It was the perfect home base for us to tour southwestern Ireland. Imelda was a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of. Her scones are not to be missed! We felt immediately at ease and comfortable. The lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is spotlessly clean and exactly as you see in the pictures. The beds (heated!) and furnishings are plush and comfortable. It was a wonderful place to start off our trip to Ireland. We hated to leave when the time came for us to move on to our next part of Ireland. Flemingstown Lodge will definitely be a stop on our next trip! Thank you, Imelda!

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at Flemingstown Lodge over the 2013 Christmas Holiday. It was a great location to tour southern and western Ireland. We had a rental car and even with the short daylight hours were able to visit all the locations on our agenda. Imelda was a fantastic hostess and made our experience even more enjoyable. The Lodge is a very secure building and was very cozy despite the winter weather conditions. We will definitely plan to return in the future.

WONDERFUL LOCATION!

  • 5 of 5
We stayed here for nearly a week and spent every night thankful we did. The bed was the most amazing ending to long days of driving/sightseeing/walking. The location is perfect for visiting Cork, Cahir, Limerick, Galway and everything in between.
Imelda makes sure you've settled in and then leaves you to your own devices, which is exactly what we were looking for...however, she makes sure to note that she is available, should the need arise!
I am going to recommend this to all my coworkers, friends and family as we are all travelers at heart!

SO MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED

  • 5 of 5
My adult son and I stayed at Flemingstown for a week. I was concerned that it would not live up to the pictures and descriptions on the website. It was so much more. The home was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. Imelda welcomed us with warmth, caring, and warm scones. She showed us the lodge and left us with the words "anything you need" so that we could relax and get settled. It truly felt like home. We could not have asked for a better hostess. She was there when you needed her but left you to enjoy your privacy. It is a great place to base touring, Blarney, Waterford, Kilarney, Cliffs of Moher are easily a day trip from the lodge. Dublin is a little far and we did spend the night there but we couldn't wait to get back "home" to Kilmallock. I would recommend this lodge to anyone and plan to return and enjoy it again. I loved the town. The people were friendly and so helpful. You do need a car to get around but that lets you set your own pace.
